many of you send messages asking when its coming (the album, that is) and since being dropped from Interscope took away the money part of the equation you can see it is taking a very long time. some people have recommended i put up a paypal donation button to help speed this process up (and help me eat the occasional sandwich if i’m lucky) so finally today, with the help of my new intern audrey, the donation button has arrived!
thanks to the genius who invented the intern (free labor in exchange for a college credit?! i’ll take two please!) i now have outside help to get my record, record label and interweb stuff up and running. soon there will be a giant drag ebay store where you can buy all my stuff because i’m not going to have any place to keep my stuff if i don’t start making money soon, so you can have it!
i should mention that people who make extra generous donations will receive extra special surprises but i can’t tell you what they are or it wouldn’t be a surprise, now would it? so if you feel like giving up a buck or a million of them i’d be very grateful! even if its just because you are riddled with guilt from illegally downloading the first album and you feel the need to repent, any reason will do and every penny counts.

FREE new cd =) I'm in the process of building a formal studio & I've got all the gear- just building a place to house it all. Figured it was a long shot but if you're really strapped for cash and still want to get a high quality recording keep me in mind. Really like what you've got going on and its just my type of music that I've been recording for years.

Giant Drag gets dropped but bands like nickleback thrive. I understand the worlds less and less. Im paying you for the music I stole off the internet AND the forthcoming album. (If for whatever reason it doesnt make it Annie, Youve given me so much joy I dont care.) You just buy yourself some Chilitos and make music for your friends. Youve given us all so much. donate? man i dont even pay attention when there's an amber alert going on. thats why i left the church, was so i wouldnt have to donate to anything ever again. and i bought "hearts and unicorns", thats hands down the best album of 2005/2006! sorry annie, i love your art more than anyone could ever know, but if you want some cash then do a concert or two. then again i am a wicked ninna, as rockbitch/mt-tv would say.

I will record your new album if you make it to St Louis. Or, why not put together a small home recording studio? Its very cheap these days and you can get great results. You may not like our music, but, we did it all in my basement....just an idea.

sorry that i'm out of cash. apparently people don't like whores that much these days... the bastards!

gladly. i hope you can get things rolling - there's a lot of people out here in the real world who want to listen to your new songs. go SUPER INDIE! no record companies. you can sell your new stuff on itunes easily enough.. physical releases will be gravy. you need to do some shows too! surely that brings in the bucks. and the uk are kind to you, you know that. you should head over here and do a few shows and sell some t-shirts.
i'm sure you've got a load of places to stay for nowt!
