You Can Never Truly Own Anything... Or Anyone For That Matter...

Everything is energy, everything is connected, everything is consciousness, everything is constantly changing all of the time.  How can we possibly own anything or anyone when this is the case.  The answer is simple we cannot, but we can imagine we own things, we can become attached to impressions of things, expecting them to show up the same again and again...

Let me explain myself a little...

As far as I can see, nothing can ever truly be owned by anything or anyone else because everything is connected.  For me it's like saying your arm owns your leg, or your teeth own your feet, it just seems ludicrous to me, but this is how our present society seemingly functions.  In our present world anything and everything seems to have a price and can be bought (have you been to town lately...)  Crazy, but why...  Well I see it like this... quite simply the evolution into consciousness, the remembrance from forgetfulness of our divine connectedness of all things...

Come again...

Well lets see, first there was nothing and nothing was all there was, nothing was everything and nothing all at the same time, but because there wasn't anything else nothing was all there was.  Nothing tired of being all there was and longed to experience itself in all it's nothingness glory for when there is only nothing there is no experience of anything only conceptions and ideas of this. So nothing had an idea, nothing decided to split itself into lots of different parts of nothing, each containing the knowledge and wisdom of the whole.  So now nothing had created something...it had created everything...  And now it had something to reflect itself upon, even if it was just other parts of itself.  Suddenly all the different parts of nothing could compare and relate themselves with all the other parts, so now nothing was starting to be able to experience itself for the only way to experience any part of yourself is when you relate it to something else, all experience comes from this.  We relate ourselves to all manner of things all of the time giving ourselves an idea of who we are.  Here are just a few examples of things we relate to:

time
people
situations
emotions
climates
density
sound
smell
touch
knowledge
words
music
pleasure
pain
the list goes on and on, and on...

This is what gives us experience.  If it wasn't for everything and everyone else there wouldn't be anything at all, no experience, and we would be right back to where we started, with nothingness...

Ok, so huh... What's this all about...

Well I can only take it so far, as far as my everchanging and evolving yet limited understanding will let me...  So with that in mind I'll give it a bash....

Let's go back a bit to nothing, first there was nothing, nothing longed to experience itself so nothing separated itself into infinitely smaller parts varying in density and composition creating everything else.  You could look at it, and I don't like using this word for it is so used already and holds all manner of attachments, but I'll use it for the sake of this understanding, you could look at it as if nothing is god and god was all there was.  And god longed to experience its godself, so god split itself into infinitely smaller parts each containing the knowledge and wisdom of the whole and created in the image and likeness of the whole (god).  But then there is a missing part to the story, that doesn't make sense.  So if god split itself into infinitely smaller parts so it could have others to relate to, how could god experience itself if everything else was just different varying sizes and compositions of the same thing each containing the knowledge and wisdom of the whole all created in the same image and likeness of god... Quite simple, it could not...  It could only relate to itself, but still could not entirely experience itself for everything knew the same as everything else.  So as the story goes, nothing/god had another idea.

God/nothing decided with all the different parts of it's godself to create a universe and a world but with one thing different, gods idea was to let all the different parts forget who they were and from where they had come from now creating existence.  All the parts still had the knowledge and wisdom of the whole and were created in the image and likeness of the whole (god) but had forgotten this.  This way all the different god parts could now not only relate to one another but now they could experience each other letting the whole experience itself.  With this god/nothing had now created things like evolution, time, and the illusion of separation.  Because god had split itself into infinitely smaller parts each varying in size and composition there was now an unlimited, infinite number of possibilities and variables for experiencing itself, awesome...
Now that's a plan....

So where do we come in...

Well we are smaller parts of the whole each containing the same knowledge and wisdom of the whole created in the image and likeness of the whole sent here by ourselves (the whole) to forget who we are so we could experience remembering who we are ie. nothing or god....

So in answer, or understanding to my original statement 'You can never truly own anything or anyone for that matter' it now makes a little more sense we can believe in the illusion of separation and believe we own things or we could embrace the whole and realise we are all the same thing, so in essence we can never truly own anything or anyone not even ourselves and that brings me back to my other question/statement 'In our present world anything and everything seems to have a price and can be bought...why'...  Well the answer is in the question itself, 'seems' to have a price and can be bought.  'Seems' = illusion.  But why in the first place...  So we could experience ourselves!  The illusion of separation creates the possibility for ownership of anything because if we have all forgotten that we are all connected then it seems as if everything else is just stuff up for grabs and if everyone believes that then we have to decide on who gets what otherwise there would just be lots of fighting; who got there first; and survival of the fittest (hey...is that not what we've got in our world - fighting; who got there first; and survival of the fittest...)  So something had to be created to make sense of all this, who owns what!  Money, pricing, value was born.  Giving something value was only ever determined by someones admiration for it (how much they or someone else desired it) creating a price, an idea of how much it was worth, then it had to be agreed upon by others.   This way in the illusion we could all agree to who owned what, going by whomever paid for it and by how much...

So why is this so important...

Well it's not, it's just evolution into new consciousness, part of the remembrance of it all.  In the illusion we have experienced our separation from ourselves so much that it is now time to remember our connectedness and remember entirely who we are and from where we have come.  This must be the case or why would I be writing this..  How could I have come to this understanding if I were not ready...  And why are you reading it...  Do you think it's just coincidence or do you think it's time to remember....

Wow...  All that from 'you never truly own anything or anyone for that matter', I'll need to throw ponderous statements at myself more often...  Beautiful... well at least I think so anyway, or maybe I'm just going mad, either way it's a very interesting understanding.  Thanks for yours...

I'd like to thank Neale Donald Walsch for inspiring me and for giving me the initial creation story in his book 'Conversations With God: Book One', which I have only now managed to more fully understand, thank you Neale, thank you god, thank you nothing...

*I appreciate this is only my present understanding and may not be accepted by anyone else, that is entirely ok.  I'm not saying I have the answer and I'm not saying this is the truth, I am only allowing myself to ponder...  Also, I completely understand there is much more could be written to the story and there seems to be lots of missing parts, that's ok, these thoughts were only ever meant as triggers for remembrance, limited ideas of the whole.  It is impossible to grasp the full picture and the mind of god (nothing) from this separate illusive perspective...  I thank you kindly for reading my words...
