My movie Blades of Glory opens today!
We wrapped Season 3 of The Office on Wednesday. Then, we all attended the Premiere of Blades of Glory on Wednesday night. We had a blast! It was so cool to have my cast members there. We really do travel in a pack. Sadly, John Krasinski and Steve Carell were working on movies and couldn't attend. But everyone else was there.
If you want to read any interviews I did about the movie or see a bunch of photos from the Premiere, I suggest going to www.officetally.com. She has compiled all of the best stuff. I think you'll agree we clean up well. B.J. looked so cute. And, Rashida looked AMAZING!
Here is a mini-photo album of my day...
That's me getting ready. I don't usually put my hair in a net while I get my makeup done but my hairdresser, Creighton, thought it would be funny for the picture. That is my make-up artist, Brett Freedman, applying my mascara. He really does do that.

This is my dress hanging on my oven. That's what ovens are for right? I heard something about people using them to prepare food but I think that is just a myth.

And, here is the final product...me and hubby hitting the red carpet. I wish I had a photo of my bracelet...it was made of tiny diamond encrusted skulls. My dress is by Guy Laroche. I only got to borrow them though. Lynn returned everything to the designers the next day.
I hope you guys go and see the movie. It is really very funny. I saw an advanced screening a couple of weeks ago but I was tickled watching it a second time because I had missed a lot of things the first time around. The skating sequences are amazing. I want to see them a 3rd time. Will Arnett is brilliant. Be sure to watch him even when he is in the background of a scene. It's awesome. Will Ferrell is hilarious. The whole cast is amazing. Craig T. Nelson was cracking me up last night. He plays the coach in the movie. He's great.
On a personal note...I got to meet Christine Taylor at the Premiere party! Man, she is seriously beautiful in real life. After we met I thought of about a million more things I wish I had said but I got nervous. I've studied her performance in Brady Bunch. It is one of the greatest satirical performances ever.
Okay...I'm off to bed. I report to work on Walk Hard today (Friday). I'm a redhead now! Next week is a supersized, original episode of The Office. I've seen clips...it is going to be one of our best of the Season.
Look for me and my new strawberry blonde hair on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno next Friday April 6th. If you want to know what is in my makeup bag, check out this week's issue of US Weekly. If you want to see my naked hip, buy Wired magazine. Yes, that is me on the cover.
And...go see Blades of Glory this weekend!
