In support of a union worker's strike at the venue, Neil Young has cancelled tonight's performance at The Forum in Los Angeles. Death Cab for Cutie and Everest were scheduled as support for this show.

In response to the cancellation, Death Cab for Cutie has said, "We understand and sympathize with Neil Young's choice to cancel his show tonight in Los Angeles. This tour has been an amazing experience for all of us so far and we stand with Neil's decision in solidarity."

Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase. For more information on the cancellation, Billboard has released this article on the strike and Neil's decision.

while i'm bummed i won't be able to see you guys and Neil tonight, i really respect the fact that Neil wasn't willing to cross the picket line. I'm glad you guys support his decision and I'll catch you again next time you are in LA.

Well there ya go! I was sooooo pleased that I was in LA when you were playing as I'm all the way from the UK... disappointment rules right now, I'm afraid! Serves me right for bragging I was going to see you!

Glad you've made your stance solidarity but feel sorry for all the fans who'd been looking forward to an incredible evening hearing their favourite band. Especially those who'd given up a days work or travelled miles to see you all.

I'd only forked out the money for the ticket to see you guys!
