Hey Guys

Everyone LOVES photos right? And we all like sharing them with our friends and family. Well here on MySpace.com we've made it even easier and faster to upload photos in 5 simple steps.

Below I'm going to show you how to use the new Photo Upload Tool, you'll be able to get your photos from the weekend up on your MySpace profile in no time!

To use this feature please make sure your using Internet Explorer.



1. Login to MySpace.com and then click on "Upload" just below your photo. You'll then get taken to the photo upload screen :)



2. So firstly, you need to select the folder on your computer / desktop which as your photos in them.

Secondly, you can name your album. And lastly to save time you can select all the images at once in that folder. You can upload an unlimited number of photos and it's super fast!



3. Then click on "upload" and hey presto you'll see your images getting upload in realtime. Remember, there's no limit to how many photos you upload :)



4. Once your images have upload, you'll get taken to this screen. Here you can add a description for the photo and tag your friends. So what is photo tagging?



5. When you select "tag photo" you'll get taken to this screen, where you can select you friend in the photo. It's really easy to do! In this photo, I've tagged my friend Sophie.

6. When Sophie logs into her MySpace account, she gets a message telling her she's been tagged.



7. When she clicks on "New Tagged Photos" she can see the photo and can approve it. If Sophie approves this photo, it appears in an album on her page titled "tagged photos"



8. Now that I've uploaded my photos and tagged my friends I'm done! Select "edit photos" again (see diagram one) and you'll now see all your albums neatly arranged with the titles you've given them. Easy!

Yes, I am a Linux user and am a rabid FOSS and Open Source etc etc Evangelist. But I don't see the point in limiting a service to just one platform when there are so many to choose from.

eg. Microdot, Mac, GNU/Linux, Solaris, BSD, OpenBSD, UNIX etc etc etc

what p*sses me off is when I am told I HAVE to use a piece of software that is not necessary to accomplish the task, and one that I choose not to use ! (/rant)

i use mac.
tagging doesnt work in safari (yes, using the newest one).
the code is a fail.

internet explorer is aids
it works in firefox, but firefox is laggy.

when i click "upload" on my home page the upload page just looks like how it used to... it doesn't have that layout, why is this?

i logged in this morning and got that same message that someone has tagged a photo of mine but when i clicked it the next page was blank, so how do i find out who tagged the pic? and what pic it was?
