Who are the Band

Who were the band, or should i say who are the band were a 6 piece folkrock act based in Aberdeen/Scotland. The band where short lived in our reality only existing physically 7 or 8 months but in essence the energy & memory of the band will live on forever. A large sound consisting of drums/percussion/vocals, backing vocals /acoustic,electric & bass guitars/piano,keyboards & organ their sound was described as acoustic folkrock, organic/tribal/roots music to jamming blues all flavoured with hints of classical beauty & an all round inner sight for life. Who are the Band where eventually well rehearsed, arranged & ready to go... So what happened...Well let's see the band were originally formed to perform the new Wilson Noble music that had arrived on the scene but after just a short period of this there became problems, different outlooks you might say. The band in Wilson's eyes (that's me) where always supposed to rise above & be so much more than just a band performing one man's tunes in their local area. The way i saw it the band had so much potential to collectively write awesome new original music of the bands own creation capturing elements only a group of like energied individuals could. That doubled with the sheer wealth of talent within the band with each having their own musical journey & individual musical creations going on I could see was awesome. My vision was always to have the band do it's own thing a spontaneous, improvised yet well rehearsed complete show. The individual music of the members of the band as well as all the glorious musical friends was always meant to be an opening act creating a versatile, invigorating, ever-changing exciting performance(s) the public would want to come see again & again. The way i saw it because each member of the band had their own thing going on we could all work together to help get each others music out there giving each individual a chance to perform their own music as an opening act to a large crowd as well as having the fun of playing in a big band of friends. All of this together I reckoned was indeed a force to be reckoned with i could see wealth, fame, professionalism & the chance to tour our humble world with this new found energy. In my vision because everyone would work together for the benefit of the whole the band would be on tour in no time all set with their own tunes, a great energy & buzz with 5 different opening acts to choose from no need for a support band. Who are the Band where in my eyes the complete package, entertaining, experimental, musical, thoughtful, professional, wise, versatile, well rehearsed confident, great live & good fun...... an awesome band...But alas this remained just my vision of the collective, possibly due to wrong timing or lack of communication, Who are the Band never quite made it into the full picture that i suppose only I had created in the first place. I dunno maybe I was asking to much, maybe I was asking to little. The band could just never see past playing Wilson Noble music, which I must say I found very draining you see having the burden of carrying the vision, implementing it, time management & making sure everyone was alright + promoting & managing the act all on top of the constant re-arranging & rehearsal of my own music to perfect the bands sound. I found it all just to stressful it was to much to take on, by the end of it I was so tired I'd forgotten what it was i was doing in the first place. Who are the Band were still awesome though even if they did only play Wilson Noble music, a few other entities & energies where born out of the collective after all, there was most definitely a fusion of souls... For me I think Who are the Band did exactly as they set out to do & I'm so very honored & glad I got to be a part of it. Thank you brothers your collective energy will be sorely missed & I thank you for the gifts you have given me....Peace & Blessings to you all, brother Wilsonwlsn(",namastewe are all oneuntil we meet again...
p.s. There is indeed a time & a space & an opportunity for a revival of this fine act so stay tuned you just never know what is around the corner.. (",
