MYSPACE AND LENNY KRAVITZ COME TOGETHER FOR THE
"GET ON THE BUS WITH THE LOVE REVOLUTION TOUR" CONTEST

10 of Kravitz's MySpace friends to become part of his tour family this January

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 16, 2007) — Globally recognized and acclaimed rock musician Lenny Kravitz has joined forces with MySpace, the world's most popular social network, to launch an exclusive contest that will allow 10 of Kravitz's MySpace friends and their guests to join him on his upcoming "Get on the Bus with the Love Revolution Tour." The winners will be in a photo shoot that will appear in the issue of YRB with Lenny on the cover. From November 14th through November 20th, the MySpace community can enter to win the opportunity to travel on a Kravitz-Designed custom Love Revolution tour bus and become part of the artist's tour family on the road with full backstage access to the live concert event.

MySpace's "Get on the Bus with the Love Revolution Tour" contest is happening in conjunction with the release of Lenny Kravitz's 8th studio album, It Is Time For A Love Revolution. Featuring 14 new songs, including the singles "Bring It On" and "I'll Be Waiting," the album is the artist's first new release in over three years. As the title indicates, the album is a thunderous rock 'n roll call-to-arms featuring Kravitz singing songs of a love revolution backed by a universal blend of soul, funk, and jazz grooves and the undeniable, anthemic lyricism that's been his trademark from day one.

The "Get on the Bus with the Love Revolution Tour" contest is open to all MySpace members who are (or become) friends with Lenny. To enter, Kravitz fans can visit his official MySpace profile www.myspace.com/lennykravitz  and submit a photo and text explaining why they should be chosen to be a part of this tour. Each entry will be judged by Kravitz and a panel made up of members of the Capitol Music Group. Winners will be notified in early December. The tour currently has nine scheduled stops in the US and will run from January 17th to February 1st, hitting cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia and New York., with confirmed dates to be announced shortly.

Prior to the tour, Kravitz will be performing his single "I'll Be Waiting" on the 2007 American Music Awards airing LIVE this Sunday, November 18th. He will also help bring in 2008 with an exciting live performance from Times Square performing two songs during NBC's world famous New Years Eve with Carson Daly. Kravitz also plans to kick off his two-year worldwide tour after the Album is released in February.

Hi! This has got to be the most exciting thing I have ever heard of! Let me know if this doesn't suffice in accordance to the rules listed: being a myspace friend, visiting the page, submitting text and a photo.

You are welcome to glance at all of my photos in my myspace albums. And I will tell you why I would love to join you in this Revolution, This LOVE REVOLUTION!!!! You know its what its all about, what this life is all about! I have been fighting and surviving for this all of my life, for this sole cause, a love revolution, a union of the people, through none other but SONG! I'm so ready for this! Keep getting an error when submitting to your contest. So I will just enter it here:

I road my bicycle 10,000 miles around the perimeter USA for charity. You can see the video of it on my profile.

All I have to say when I felt like giving up I just put this song on my Ipod.

Even if you don't pick me thanks for the inspiration Lenny.

I rode 10,000 miles while listen to Lenny so why not also ride in the tour bus with him. Oh and my middle name is Caridad which means charity/love.

alas, i too had problems entering.
i've 'love revolution'ized my default pic.

love. lenny. forever.

i've been high on lenny since high school, collecting every album and catching every show i could. pine knob was the best! i think it was horde fest? AWESOME!

your songs play like a soundtrack to one's life. good times...bad times...confused times...any time...every time. even the collaborations. one of my favorites is mean sleep with cree summer.

love keeps us going when nothing else can.
a fuel that never runs dry.
the bond between mother and child.
the enlightening sunrise that comes every morn.
the elusive rainbow after a storm.

not sure if this will count as an entry. (hopefully it does, and hopefully you pick me!)
