I was driving down that long ass freeway coming home from work when some jackass in a semi tried to kill me. I musta been in his blindspot because he didn't see me until I locked up my brakes and fell back enough to narrowly avoid becoming Peterbuilt food. When I passed him in the left lane and flipped him the American peace sign he blasted his horn and returned the gesture. That's when it suddenly dawned on me that people are much nicer to each other on myspace.

Epiphany!

I thought to myself ... "Self, why not take myspace to the public at large?"

So when I got home I came up with some ways in which I could make my neighborhood a tad bit myspace-ish.

First I went door to door handing out friend requests to the people that I don't already know. Then I went around sticking glitter graphix on the neighbors' houses that I have become friends with since moving in.

Here is a graphic that I posted up in the mormon's front yard.

You can't read the comment, but it says "Man, you have a noisy dog!."

They came over to yell at me, but by the end of our conversation they accepted my friend request.

I posted a comment at my alcoholic neighbor's place.

Here is a close up of that comment.

He came by to ask me what that was all about, unfortunately I was posting a blog and didn't have time to talk to him so I ignored his live chat request and he finally just stumbled off. He should have just waited a minute until I was done posting my blog.

Ah, he wouldn't have left kudos anyways.

I don't know if anyone has read it yet, well... besides you all. Its a re-post of the last Sic and Sam chapter.

All that I do know is that no one has left comments or kudos so far.

It was very frustrating to think that some of my neighbors had probably lurked around without saying anything so I decided that two could play at that game. I let myself quietly in to one of my neighbor's house (the pretty one that likes to sunbathe) and went upstairs to see if she had anything cool on her profile.

I found tax papers, some pictures and some writing in a nightstand drawer.

So I lurked through her archives a bit.

Most of it was junk, but there were a few candid moments that got my attention. She even mentioned me once.

Her picture index was full of family photos and pictures of trips and whatnot...

but then I hit paydirt.

I'm not gonna tell her until she ads me or reads my blog.

No free rides here!

Now if you will excuse me, I am off to read poetry to the maintenance man's wife while he is at work. I can hear her profile song... that's my cue.
