With all the controversy over the bible and religion I felt it important to point out these very important facts:....What everyone is neglecting to acknowledge here is that the bible was written by man - not God. And society was just as political then as it is today - written with an agenda in mind - you could think of it as the constitution of its time. There were originally over 40 books, all but a few were included in the scriptures, that choice, again, subjectively made by ONE MAN.....No one has ever actually seen or talked to God so for any one person to claim that they alone know the "absolute truth" are only going by the opinions of regular, ordinary people of that time. Read the other 40 books not included as they are just as relevent since, again, the choice to exclude them was made by one man - with an agenda. And these books tell a very different "story" - since they didn't identify with the agenda, they were excluded - which is what the bible, in reality, actually is since it was written by man.....We all pretty much overwhelmingly agree on the premise of the 10 commandments, as well as the common sense notion of treating others the way you would want to be treated. If we all would live our lives based on these very simple philosophies the world would be a much better place. Once you factor in the bible and religion it divides instead of unites. Hence - religious wars. ....Religion is more dangerous and has been responsible for more deaths than any other act. Leaders use religion as a premise to organize and rally troops by supplying them with a common cause - religious beliefs. Leader's actual agenda is for dominance and power over resources. ....And as for PITA - not that I condone animal abuse, even if that is in fact the case, but I don't believe that is even the point in this situation - but I'll focus my time and energy on the starvation and disease suffered by PEOPLE in what we like to call the "civilized world", first. And 2 wrongs don't make a right - throwing flour on any person is assault, and the perpetrator/s should be prosecuted - The actions of these PITA folks are much worse than the people they target - they have become nothing less than a hate group with their extreme behavior and choice to ignore the suffering of people in this world.

So our history books can't be trusted because I wasn't there when any of that happen. Obviously the Bible is Fact or we wouldn't have so many people believing in it. And although you can't see him if you are truly real with yourself you can feel God in your life. Well maybe not you but when I hear a really good Christian song i feel it. Yes the wars over different religions suck and are not fair to all the innocent people but God didn’t cause the division the devil did. So let’s not blame everything on God. If you research it you will see that many man read all those some 40 books and yes we have many different versions of the Bible but only to help aid people in learning the scripture. If one doesn’t believe in god one has no hope. Watch the movie expelled. When Clinton wanted to make it easier for people to buy homes and earn equity, rather than pay rent, the only way the republicans would agree was if Clinton agreed to de-regulation.....As a result lenders could do what ever they wanted, and did what was in their own best interest. Aside from predatory lending, another very important example is, when a person was late on a payment, even a day, lenders would tack on a late fee and an additional attorney fee of $500-$800. Then not work with the homeowner, not accept partial payment, intentionally make it impossible to catch up - for a reason. The purpose: create receivables on the balance sheet - which increased net assets - which increased net worth - which increased stock value. I know this because I worked as an accountant in the for profit industry. The auditors eventually said these receivables were too aged and had to come off - then the bottom fell out.....That is why we need regulation. Inherent greed, tremendous pressure to answer to shareholders, etc. creates too much incentive to stray from the rules. Capitalism is what made this country great - but if people don't follow the rules the free market will not work. For the free market to work there must be rules to counter personal interest.....So it has nothing to do with socialism and everything to do with ensuring the free market works as it should. The gov handed tax money to lenders with no strings attached - that is corporate socialism. They got into this mess because of greed - greed is not a component of a free market. And the free market is a theory - in practice it's a whole different story.....We have rules and regulations in all aspects of society, including our own homes because people are emotionally compelled to not follow the rules - regulation in the market place does not equate to socialism - it is to ensure responsible business practices so that the free market will work as it should.

God didn't create "GAYS", it is a choice. Any one who knows the BIBLE knows that GOD gave man the ability to make choices for himself and the ability to seek repentance for his sins. Yes, there are verses in the bible that say things like '...a man shall not lay with another man in the same way he would a woman... it is an abomination in the eyes of the lord...' However, conveniently that verse in particular has been taken completely out of context as it was written as a small part a very long letter written by an APOSTLE (not any part of the Holy Trinity) advising them of what must be done in HIS estimation , (again, not Christ's) to save their sould from eternal damnation. Also, just as a point of interest, the folks he was chastising were using same sex, *a-hem* 'contact' in there ceremonies of idol worship. There by making idol worship the sin, perhaps even fornication. same sex sex acts however? Not so much doll face.

Another thing you should think about is a young poet named David. One of God's 'most beloved' humans. You know, the guy who wrote a majority of the Psalms? You do remember the Psalms right? Have you read any of the Hebrew, or Armaic texts, or even any bit of the bible that was DIRECTLY AND ACCURATELY translated? It's not a secret that King James had a vast portion of the Bible twisted to fit his needs, beliefs and vices during the transaltion he commisioned. Doesn't that make you just a little leary? Do you feel 100% that a Royal with transgressions such as his wouldn't change thigs for his own benefit, or for that matter, just because he wanted to? I think once you start seeing the major differences there are between what we call 'The Bible' today, and what the Bible was actually written to be, you might change your tune a tad.

If not, oh well... I tried, but just in case, chew on this, the word 'abomination' is used to describe the way homosexual sex acts are viewed by god as I stated above. You know what though, that's not the only thing that's said to be an 'abomination'... So is eating the flesh of a swine. Swine being pig; Pig being bacon... So, as you crunch down on meat deemed unclean by our Lord and Saviour, just know that the fat lodged between your preachy teeth is just as disgusting to him as hot man on man action used to honor an idol god...
