Hello Hello.

My, it has been a long time.

I saw that fellow compatriot Josh Grider blogged today via those crazy myspace friend updates... and I realized that it has been a long time since I’ve reached out and given everyone an e-heyhowsitgoing.

So, hey, how’s it going?

A little update as to what’s going on, musically, in my world.

2008 has started with a few challenges, but we’ve been able to work everything out, and while the calendar is a little slim these days, that’s all starting to change. We’ve moved to a new booking agency, and I fully expect that Wes and the gang at AUE will do their part to right the ship. Keep your eyes open for new shows, which will go up on the site as soon as we get them confirmed.

I’ve been writing a bunch of new material, and if all goes as I hope it will, I’d like to head into the studio this winter and work on record number three. I’ve even been thinking about re-recording an old song that I put on my first record for this one.. I’ve been playing the new stuff here and there at my acoustic shows, so some of you have heard a few of them already. Songs always take on a new life in the studio, and I’m excited to see how they will turn out.

On a personal level, I’m very excited that the baseball season has begun. Those of you that know me know I’m kind of a baseball nut, so the last couple of days have been great as I’ve been watching as many games as possible.

Other than that, it’s feeling like summer time in New Braunfels, and that means that a trip to the river is not far away. I love living here.. and I love it when my world starts to warm up a little.
