Hey everyone!

I hope each and every one of you is doing well. I'm enjoying a busy schedule these days, and taking every opportunity to hit up the rivers here in town when I can.

There are a lot of exciting things coming up for me in the next several months.

In September I'll be heading for the East Coast yet again. We've got some exciting shows already lined up and some more on the way-- including a 5 day run with my good friend Adam Hood. Stay tuned to the myspace page for more updates. I'll post the dates as soon as we get them confirmed. Some of them are already up for your viewing, and hopefully planning, pleasure.

This weekend the band and I will be doing a big show with Kevin Fowler in Harper, TX. We're all really looking forward to this one, and I hope to see a few familiar faces out there in the crowd.

And the thing that I'm most excited about--
I'll be heading into the studio starting with the first week in November to make a new record. I haven't decided on a name for it yet, but I've got a solid stable of songs built up for it already, and I hope to write a couple of more before we're ready to cut. Gerald Boyd, who produced Dollar Theatre Movie, will be joined by Bruce Robison to produce this one. I'm really excited to see what these two incredibly talented guys will bring to my tunes, and I have some very, very high hopes for this album. I write each song with the goal of making it even better than the last, and while that kind of thing is challenging, I feel like I've been achieving that goal. Those of you that have been supportive of what I do will, I think, really dig these songs. For those of you that are new to my music, I think the songs are a great introduction to who I am both as a songwriter and more importantly, as a person. I'll keep you posted.

There are some other things coming down the line that I'm really exited about as well, and I'll fill you in when the time is right.
