Management Team Members:
20 hours and counting...
20 hours until you and your team are given an unbelievable opportunity to communicate to your entire staff our company's complete commitment to our guests, making them feel comfortable and welcomed during their time in your store; to clearly communicate to your staff that our guests must be acknowledged in a warm and friendly manner. The agenda given for this meeting is definitely a helpful tool, but more important than a list of do's and don'ts will be your honest and sincere addressing of your staff at this meeting.
The following points are key to creating a guest-friendly environment in your store:
1. The environment we expect our associates to create for our guests must start internally. Management must treat their staff in the same way they expect them to treat our guests.
2. Your goal is to motivate your staff to want to create this type of environment, rather than forcing them.
3. You must lead by example. Management must be held to an even higher level than their staff.
In closing, we ask that you use this meeting as a springboard to create an environment which exceeds our guests' expectations every time they enter your store.
Please be the reason our guests choose to shop your store, not the reason they choose to shop the competition.
