I am working with the Obama team here in Germany - it is unbelievable the support our next President is getting all over Europe. There are groups like the Young Democrats in Munich, and loads of folks in the Düsseldorf/Cologne area where I live that are crazy about Barack Obama and they aren't even US citizens! Change is happening all over the world, and it is the right time...
 

Omg no friggin way. As much as i'd loove to believe that the actual "Olivia Wilde" uses myspace, i'm finding it very difficult. But wow, kinda awsome anyways! Ha, I've come from the land of Eire to visit the states on a 3 month holiday! Jealous? But must say, have been following obamas campaign. Its so big over here. The whole voting, presidents, senators. Its crazy! Such a diffrence! I think he'll make a really good president for you guys, also the fact that he has a sence of humor is amazing. you rarely see people high up having one of those. Hey, I no that probably no one will read this message let alone the one i am directing this too but anyway.
The other day i was watching an episode of house on UK TV (where i live) and decided to watch it again on YouTube or a certain part. Anyway i began a long chain of video watching as i always seem to do when ever i watch any Youtube video's, (A habbit only made worse with my new iPhone). I came across a video of Olivia.. In the OC!

Now i will be honest at this point i didnt know '13' was in anything other then House but after re watchin a few episodes of The OC I remember how awesome her character was and how certain parts of my life are mirrored in what ever show im watching at the time and more specifically the girls i find myself in relationships with. But alas i digress.

The point is after a few more video's of Olivia I saw an interview she did with some TV guy about a play she did and the political connotations and metaphors the play was expressing. Now living in England I obviously don't have a say in american politics and probably don't know as much as the average Yank out there but i do know that when an actor/actress speaks out about more then there tiny dog or new shoe's and presses issues that they truly believe in I feel a sense of relief.

Relief that there is a voice out there that hasn't been tainted by 'fair and balanced' or the view of the majority is always right. Most of all though relief that the people that are running the country are not your typical 'Joe six pack' or corrupt old man who wants to make as much money as quickly as possible. We are now a different world. A world where the voice is of something other then greed or selfishness.

And what really amazes me is that these people making millions in CA making these blockbuster films or hit TV shows or 13 from house, even though they will be taxed more and make less money they want to help the less fortunate, to get away from the current status quo of one man to rule them all or to be put more accurately, one CEO to own it all and move towards what we should have, what the human thing to do is which is to say we are equal in this world and i will give what i can to make my fortune my neighbors fortune

Ok i think ive written enough now lol. I hope you read this even if its just this last line Olivia, Thank you for all you've done.
