What does the Torah tell the Children of Israel regarding the shedding of innocent blood? Especially genocidal blood slaughter?
"Lo taamod al dam réakha" or "You shall not stand idly by the shedding of the blood of your fellow man." is a Biblical commandment. The word is not "akhikha," your Jewish brother, but "réakha," your fellow human being, be he or she Jewish or not.
