Hi Everyone!!!

        I have been busy, as usual for me, and this year is no exception. Not including the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I have had many new projects to work on this past year. I know sometimes I don't always keep in good touch, but to all my sweeties out there, I am thinking of ya, I miss ya and I love ya, even though I don't get to say it nearly enough.

       To fill you in on what has been going on, I'll let you know what I have been up to over this past year. First and Foremost I would have to say is, Acting, Singing ,Acting, Singing, Red Carpet Events and some sleep when I get a chance. hahaha (An entertainer's life is never boring that's for sure).  I got the lead in an up and coming Spike Television series called "Foxxy News". It is a funny comedy pilot series parody on News casting and I got to play head Anchorwoman so keep your eyes open for it coming soon in 2007.

     I have had other roles and projects including hosting and modeling, for Companies such as "NewEgg.Com" (A very big computer company), Benchwarmer Trading Cards and More. I was recently Featured in "Elite Fighter" Magazine with a full cover spread, as well as "Grappling" Magazine . I have also been featured in a well known German Magazine and my International fans have increased greatly!

   When I am not working, I am working in the studio on my up-coming album to be released VERY SOON. I have recently been on some exciting auditions for Yamaha Company, a Movie called "Daddy's Girl" and a Role on the Series "Nip/Tuck" and the new Courtney Cox show on FX "DIRT" amongst others.

As an actress you never really know what is going to come along, and you need to be able to be ready at the drop of a hat, (like a doctor, ready to deliver a baby) hahaha. It's tough at times, but the payoff of getting a great role like the one I had in "Anchorman" is totally worth it.

       I am getting ready to launch my New Website, www.darcydonavan.com !!!! We have put together a whole new bunch of ideas for the New Year. This site is going to knock everyone's socks off. Keep your eyes and ears open, we hope to have it up and running in the new few weeks. A good website is the soul of a entertainer, a calling card to those who want new information and a update for old fans and friends. I really can't wait for you to see it.  After New Years, and it should be rockin' and ready to go.

    If it weren't the Holiday's that have kept me so busy, as you all know I recently just had a Birthday. My Birthday Bash Party was a huge success. Sometimes I wish we didn't all live so far away, I would have loved to see some of you there. There were all sorts of producers, directors and industry people at my party and it was a great event and everyone had a really good time. We had a DJ a hot bartender and a lot of dancing. It was so much fun!

     Recently this last month, I was invited to a NBAEL (NBA Entertainment League) basketball game. The NBA Entertainment League is a private, invitation-only basketball league with many of Hollywood's top actors, musicians and entertainment insiders. This is a very high class event where actual entertainers "Play" basketball!! Some of the well known players are Justin Timberlake, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Dean Cane,  Bill Bellamy, and Wayne Brady. You all know how I love sports (since my Dad is a coach) so this was right down my alley. It was so much fun and I got to meet a lot of very important people including Jamie Foxx!! He came up to me I might add which was a funny story in itself. It was a great time all around, and I am looking forward to going back next game. There is talk about myself coaching one of the teams.

    I know I have been spending a lot of time here in California, and I am very sad that I will not be able to make it into my hometown of Nashville, TN for the Holidays.  But it seems like Hollywood waits for no man or woman. I do hope to visit sometime soon when I can find the time, so I will be sure to keep everyone posted. I hope everyone has a great holiday and a Happy New Year. I know I am looking forward to 2007. I have a lot of great things on the horizon. 2007 is going to be a great year because I have such a terrific team, wonderful friends and an amazing family like you.

    Starting Next Year,  I have been asked to do an AC/DC Commercial, Based on the CD Tribute cover I was on "We Salute You" for them that won the prestigious Clio Award (meaning best album cover of the year). I get to be a brunette Darcy for that one. ;)

      My new Music Album will also be releasing soon with all new song tracks and a few of the old great ones. I can't wait to finally get back out there doing what I love most, singing. I have it set up that people can currently buy my songs online through various sources,and there is only more good things to come!!

   From My German Article, I have been asked to star in a German Tour, where I will sing but also be on TV. So I need to brush up on my German, and FAST (I will be calling my wonderful German grandmother a lot) hahaha!

   My music producers are currently working hard to make this a go, and I personally can't wait. When I make it to Germany, I will be sure to send you all some of GERMANY'S FAMOUS…… CHOCOLATE!!! DELICIOUS!!!….I will send a lot because I know I will not be able to have it, if I need to stay in shape. Well, maybe I can sneak in a little dark chocolate piece, they say it is good for the heart. hahaha
