Just a quick note to let those that have expressed concern know that Mute Math and their families were able to successfully evacuate New Orleans before Katrina made landfall, and all are alive and well. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers as this great tragedy continues to unfold.....

I'm so glad you guys are all ok!! I was sooo relieved when I read your blog. I hope you guys can all return to your homes soon and that your houses are ok. We're all very glad to actually 'hear' from you guys!!  What can one say?  On the one hand, we're thankful and feel great hearing that you're all safe, and then our thoughts go back to the tragic circumstances in New Orleans and the other affected areas.  ....really a mixed emotional bag.  We're praying that the future will be brighter on all fronts, and that more and more bits of good news will be leaking out over the coming days.  Everything else that we talk about here pales in the light of the human suffering that's going on.  Let me just say this: we're to be light and salt in this world, and you guys certainly provide much-needed light in a dark place.  Thanks so much for doing that, and being that. - Your friends in New York,

Glad to hear from you selfs! I'm devastated to see the situation in NO, very similar of a Dutch flooding disaster we had back in the fifties. This is gonna take a while... I echo Bert's wise words... Anyway, hope you have a great fall tour.

Praise God...definitely was praying and still am for you guys...it seems that one word has caught my attention in the news when covering the disaster and that word is "Chaos"...how prophetic that song is to the current state of your city..."The Lord is good to all..."

I'm glad you did... So did I.. are you guys still coming to New Orleans in Nov? ha, I don't even think I could go since i'm not 18+.. I'm so bummed out but I'm still hopeful.. really hopeful. I'm really glad you guys got out.. and I really hope New Orleans will get a lot better..
