Have u ever heard of lupus (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus)? Its a terrible disease and not many know about it..Here in Malaysia, a foundation (SLE Malaysia) has been set up to raise much needed mula ($$$)  for lupus research and helping ppl suffering from this disease. I never heard of this disease myself until a friend of mine got diagnosed with it some time back.

Im helping her to raise awareness about Lpus and SLE M'sia. This saturday (that's 10th March '07) Fly.fm is having a contest for the person who can bring the most ppl to Starbucks Sunway Pyramid  and stay the longest will get RM1000 donated to SLE M'sia.

The first 50 people arriving there and give password to Starbucks counter, will get coffee of their choice for free.

So, if u are free, and have nothing better than lounging arnd on a saturday afternoon, head on to Starbucks Pyramid, 12 - 3 pm. The more the merrier. Stay as long as u like...

Its time we spend a little more time on things and ppl that matter and a lil less time on ourselves.

i heard of lupus a couple of times on tv but im not so sure what it is. as far as im concerned it has something to do with the body's immune system that goes haywire. (or something lah) will have skin rash and all that. i hope your friend will be well. thanks for the info.
