Let’s do this again, shall we?

Ask away, any questions you have about ANGEL:AFTER THE FALL 1-5, SPIKE:AFTER THE FALL, EVERYBODY’S DEAD 1...

...ask me about Chris Ryall’s warm touch, ask me about what I was doing during the Buffy Paleyfest Panel (here’s a hint, CELEBRITY APPRENTICE was on at the exact same time)...

...maybe you’re wondering what I’m wearing, what cologne I prefer?

Now is the time!

I’ll cut off the questions at Midnight on Monday.

Soooo let’s go!

EDIT: NO SPOILERS, though. I won’t spoil upcoming storylines. Sorry all.

Issue 4 - variant cover with Angel and 2 angels behind him - What is the relevance of the date shown on the cover - "April 22 1979 I'm waiting for you"?

Since I'm seeing James in three weeks, I need as much info as possible about Spike: After the Fall. Is it a spinoff? Has it been blessed by Joss? Is he being the watcher of it as well? What's the duration? (The man is gonna ask me all this - I'm his source for comic book geekiness ;))

From the show it seemed that just Wesley and Illyria where the only two, to get their memories back about Connor but in the comic everyone knows. So question I guess is why.

Also "Does your gran'pop rock?" did that like come to you in a dream, cuz that is just fucken great.

And sorry to say I will probitly bug you with more questions later.

i was just wondering that since weasley has standard perpetuity clause in his contract, and in the white room the senior partners metion that they could have a zombie lindsey or even eve as the liason, does that mean that everyone(angel, gunn, lorne) who signed a contract also has that too? random question but i thought i'd ask. great comic btw.

Hey, Brian Lynch, please tell me there will be a Brain-Lich in Everybody's Dead!

(Yeah, I didn't think it was that funny either... :-/ )

It's hard to ask questions that won't get the standard: "That's a spoiler." as a response, but I think this one might be outside the realm of After the Fall...

In your opinion, are the PTB evil? If they weren't, why didn't they warn Cordy when Skip manipulated her into becoming part demon? Isn't it more likely that they were just another evil corp. vying to get Angel on their side of the Apocalypse? They must have sent Skip, and sent him the second time to Cordelia too. He never says she's going to become a 'higher' being. She says those words. And then look what happens! Season 4 Cordelia...

Angel and Co. are still too naive in season 5 to know that Cordy is still as manipulative as her gothed-out S4 self. Evil Cordy manipulates Angel into getting LA pulled into hell... Bringing the whole world that much closer. So what do you say? Are the PTB evil or not?

Also, do you know what planescape is? And if so, how has it influenced you?

Mike is my name.

(Heh, heh. Gotcha! Mike's MY name!)

((Heh. Gotcha twice!))

Thanks for offering to answer our questions! I haven't been able to get my hands on 2-5 yet (for reasons unknown, my local comic shop only carries 1), but I've got high hopes for where this is going. How likely is it that you'll continue working in the Buffy/Angel verse after ATF has run its course?

Hi,

and thanks for a wonderful issue of After the Fall! Probably the best one since 1 this, in my eyes.

A couple of tiny things that bothered me a little, though, and naturally, those are the ones causing my questions... Just keep in mind that I totally loved the issue when you read these.

What's with the "Angel being human so he needs to shave"-gag? It works and it's funny and all, but it seems really clumsy to me too mess with tons of established continuity of vampires gaining and losing hair-length/styles and in Angelus' case even mustaches to suddenly say that vampires don't shave. Especially when all you get out of it is a minor gag, no matter how well it works. Is there a side to this that I'm not seeing? I hope so. I know it's a minor thing, but it's the kind of half-working continuity that detracts from my reading-experience of what's going on as "real", so I hope there's some simple way of explaining it away.

Second, his breaking of the fourth wall, going, to the reader, "I was as surprised as you". Don't have equally big a problem with this as the shaving-thing, but I'm curious, how much thought did you put into doing that? Seems like a rather big risk, story-telling-wise, and I don't think Angel's ever done that before.

The third one isn't as much of a problem as it's a very surprising comment of Lorne's. He seems to think Fred's soul is in heaven. While he might of course have been lying or wrong, it was rather clearly established in "Shells" by Dr. Sparrow that Fred's soul was obliberated, and it seemed that Wesley, Gunn and Angel - and probably Spike, too, as he after that seemed to lay down his and Angel's plans of getting her soul back - all believed him. Is Lorne willfully disagreeing with them and believing Fred to be in Heaven despite the doctor's comments, or was he simply never told about this extra bit of horridness by the others? Fred's loss of her soul, making her only remains the small pieces of her left in Illyria, was very crucial to especially Wesley's grieving process in season 5 and, it seems, to the plot of "After the Fall" as well. So it seems odd to, without any form of explanation, having Lorne undermine the established facts surrounding it in a throwaway comment. Hopefully this is something we'll be explained later on, but if it isn't, I'd really like to know.

Last, a more general thing that I'm sure you get asked all the time - will we find out who knows what about Connor's existance at some point? Gunn getting an old picture with baby Connor on it in issue 4 seems to imply that everyone now knows what really happened in season 4, but it hasn't really been confirmed in any way.

All in all, this series keep surprising and pleasing me very much, and I'm sorry most of my questions stem from the tiny little things that bug me instead of the overwhelming good. Thanks very much for a so far great continuation to my favourite tv-show. And thanks for (hopefully) answering these questions!

Loved the new issue. It's my favourite thus far!
First question- When Spike says to Angel "He was right, and I'm a champion and I- I..." during the big fight in Issue 5, what was the rest of that sentence before he broke off into bravado? Please, let it be Spangel-related. ^_~ You owe me one after the promised Spangel hook-up in issue three wasn't there. I bought like three dozen issues just like you said and everything!

Second question- When is the next time we get to see Betta George? I've missed that big telepathic floatie fish.

Lastly, what are you wearing? Marc Jacobs? Chanel? Some sort of cotton-poly-blend?

Loved issue 5.

1)Starting with a OT question. Now that the strike is over, what are your thought on the WGA deal?As a screenwriter and guild member, are you happy with it?

2)How big a threat level should we take Gunn?It seems what Angel and company are facing now is just the warm up.Is Gunn going to be a major player in the second half of ATF?

3)The last page reveal of Fred.Is this another element from Joss's plans for season 6?

4)Are anymore of the supporting cast going to get spin-off miniseries like Spike is?

5)In the white room,is that the Senior Partners speaking to Wesley?

6)Does issue 5 pretty much answer Eve's fate in the white room scenes?

7)Are you going to do a crossover with your Everybody's Dead and use zombie Lindsey?Hey you opened yourself up to it with it this issue.

7)What are your thoughts on the latest developments in Buffy season 8.Do you have your own guesses on who Twilight is?What are your thoughts on the upcoming Buffy/Fray crossover arc?Have any thoughts on Buffy/Satsu and what Joss said about them?Any thoughts on the various reactions in fandom over it?

8)At the Paleyfest Buffy Reunion,Joss made some comments about doing a Buffy/verse movie. He says he would love to if the stars line up right and it would be great to work with the actors again. He made some controversal comments though in fandom. He said he would have no problem dumping the events in the canon comics in order to make a movie work. That he has no problem in losing the comic mythology because we were doing a project
with these actual people. Those comments are getting a lot of reaction in fandom from the fans invested so much in Buffy season 8 and The After The Fall series. As the writer of the Angel side of the canon comics, what are your thoughts on this and how would you feel if Joss decided to ignore After The Fall in order to make a movie work?

9)What would your question be to the panel if you were an audience member?

Ever since the revelation in ATF issue 4 that Angel is now human (a turn I'm ambivalent about, at best), I've been trying to figure out how to phrase my concerns. I don't know if I'll succeed, but what the hey. Being a vampire is at the very core of Angel's identity; making him human is the single most radical change you could make to the character. He is now something that is, essentially, entirely different.

Stepping "outside" of the text, can he even really be considered the same character?

Leaving aside the questions of his humanity being permanent or not, or his very survival, how do you think a human Angel could function in the Buffyverse beyond ATF? What place would he have? Could he still even be a central character, as just a guy?

Do you find it hard as a fan Angel yourself, not to letting your fantasies (maybe not the right word) for the characters go wild? Do you find that happening? As a storyteller do you find it helpful? Is there an example you can give of something you wanting to do just being too ridiculous?

Keep up the good work!

1) Is it confirmed that the Fred we saw is in fact Fred herself, and not simply a purely physical transformation by Illyria?

2) In Issue 1 Angel had drawings of the golden gemish thingy Gunn stole from Kr'ph's throat. Was there a significance to this that we'll come back to, and Angel simply forgot it in the chaos that ensued, or will this not be looked at again?

3) Can it safely be assumed that Wesley's vanishing wasn't because he was 'grounded' to our plane by the Wolfram and Hart offices, and simply because the Senior Partner's got pissed?

4) Is the T-rex from an alternate dimension where its still the Jurrassic era, or were dinosaurs like Jurrassic era demons?

5) Will First Night show exactly where and how Angel got the vampire glamour to where it is?

6) How does Angel: After the Fall continue to be so awesome?

Again, lotsa questions. Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer them, I was so stoked that you hit on every single one of mine last time.

1. As far as "Everybody's Dead," is it going to be definitely finite after these five issues, or is there a chance for more?

2. On his blog, Ryall spoke about two super secret Brian Lynch projects, one of them being a newly acquired lisence for IDW. One of those projects was revealed to be "Spike: After the Fall." What is the other? I mean, a podcast would be as awesome a place as any to announce...

3. Why the fourth-wall breakage in 5 (Angel addressing the reader directly with the "I was as surprised as you")?

4. When the covers for 9 were released, you commented on the "Fred" cover by saying that they might as well have a picture of Xander on the cover, because that character doesn't appear in that issue. Was that another "vampire Angel panel" kinda thing, where you just said that so we'd be surprised by the end of 5, or were you being serious?

5. Will Nick Runge's depiction of Betta George be closer to Urru's cartoonish or Wrigley's lumpy realistic?

6. Back to the 9 covers. Three out of four are just photos of Amy Acker. Are the covers now just going to be promotion photos with one art cover by Nick Runge, or will there be more art covers for the following issues? That being said, were those photos for 9 the real covers, or just teasers?

7. Which cover has been your favorite from the SlayAlive/BCC/Stephen Mooney competition thing?

8. How excited are you that the TPB will not be a PB at all, but will be hardcover? (Best news ever). That being said, seeing as the Directors Cut of Angel 1 will have a script and commentary, does that mean that the "Angel After the Fall" hardcover won't have commentary?

9. If "After the Fall" were on television, which characters would be in the opening credits?

10. Nina looks considerably different in 5 than she did in 1 and 2. Is that because of the annoying fans who reacted badly to her boob size (who have apparently never seen Jenny Mollen) or because of something else?

11. Out of all the artists who've brought your words to live--gotta be in the double digits, now, after First Night--which has amazed you the most?

Ok, I have a few questions.

1. Is Cordy at least going to make an appearance in the comic? And I'm not talking about a flashback, or a picture. Maybe as a ghost, or a vision. Or bring her back alive, wow that would make me happy, I don't care if it perfect ending in season 5., I'm selfish that way. So is she going to be in it?

2. Besides Spike, and Illyria, who else is going to pop up in "Spike: After the Fall".

3. Is that really Fred at the end of Issue 5, or was it Illyria with Fred's appearance?

4. Can you bring Lilah back?

Hi, okay call me dumb for asking, but I'm really confused about the cliffhanger ending.
Illyria turns into Fred and calls out Wesley's name... what's so cliffhangery about that? Season 5 established that Illyria could turn into the guise of Fred, and that Fred's soul was destroyed when Illyria was resurrected so there was no chance of Fred coming back. Has that continuity been overwritten, menaing that that really is Fred? Sorry, but I was just very confused

Hi, sir. Great work running the Angel book. It is the most important comic ever to me. I must have each new issue ASAP.

Q: Is there a "glitch" in Hell's "matrix" that made Illyria turn into Fred? Or was it just Illyria turning into Fred on instinct because she saw Wesley for the first time since Not Fade Away?

Also: Will somebody re-sire Angel?!?!?! And will he keep his soul after being re-sired?!?!?

Will GUNN become the third Vampire With A Soul?!

So since Team Angel seems to have so many members and allies these days, if you could spin-off the series into 2 monthly titles and have an A team and B team, who would you put with who? Angel, Wesley, Gunn (if he wasn't evil now), Fred, Lorne, Connor, Gwen, Dragon, etc. Do the possibilities appeal to you even if it's a total rip-off of X-Men?

Brian, I love ATF. It's beautiful and the characters really have an amazing voice but I was watching the last few episodes of season five the other day and I couldn't help but notice the difference between the way Spike and angel act towards each other in season five and the way they act in ATF. Why does Angel seem to act so weird towards Spike (as in still thinks the worst of him ect.) when by the end of season five they both seemed to except and even understand the others strengths and weaknesses? Is this change in behavior due to Angel's new found humanity?

I would also like to ask if we are going to ever see an exploration of what has exactly happened to the Angelus side of Angel. I know that seems a bit spoilery but I'm curious as to whether or not you believe Angelus is just another name for all of the bad that is the man Angel. Or, if you believe (as Angel seems to believe) that Angelus is just the demon and is thus gone now that Angel is now human. Actually, I sort of want to write an essay on the subject citing Spike's interesting behavior in seasons five and six of Buffy.

1) When a vampire takes over a hosts body do they inherit some of their hosts traits eventhough they have no soul?

2) If Gwen Raiden went to Professor Xavier’s School for Mutants to better focus her power would it unlock any hidden potential? Or would she just get a new glitzy costume to join the X-men?

3) Was it a continuity error, double standard or raw bitterness for Spike holding it against Angel for what happened to Wesley, Gunn, and "forgetting to leave the end of days off the office memo"?

Considering Spike was well aware of the "end of days" after Lindsey warned them of "the" apocalypse, and was the 1ST to approve Angel's plans in NFA, and prior to that stated he could feel the big fight was coming + thats "where he lived".

4) Will the Spike mini series be fresh ideas or be based on recycled ideas of the long awaited Spike movie?

5) Did Angel retain any strength or agility or is it the witch doctor potions enhancing the "vampire glamour"?

6) Krph fell apart like dominoes pretty easy and it looks like all he did was help amplify Betta George's telepathy to mind control the warriors. Did the Eye of Ramras amplify Krph's powers at all?

7) Has Gwen still got that device so she can touch humans without killing them?

Brian,

I am enamored with your writing. Spike: Asylum transcended the comic book medium to produce a truly (dare I say it) cinematic experience. I loved the new characters you've introduced. Shadow Puppets was just a Helluva lot of fun and had me chuckling for days. You've got the characters voices down pat - to Jossian heights.

With that said - I have had a little bit of issue with the amount of ressurrections/bring backs taking place in ATF. These characters have already had their stories psychologically closed.

Now Gunn makes sense as a vampire villain, but Wesley, Lorne, The Groosalug, Gwen Raiden, Nina, and Fred as well? Are Cordelia and Lilah next?

While I do like what has been done with bringing back Wesley, I still feel like his book had been mostly shut and it was the perfect end to the character. Lorne had a fantastically bitter end, which, felt, again, just right. Although we don't know if "Fred" is really back, again, I felt it better to have her over and done with as well - the same with the Groosalug, and Nina's end was equally as fitting as Angel's "satisfactory" girlfriend. The same with Connor. Then again, perhaps the finale was the perfect end to the series and I'm being too analytical.

But perhaps think of it this way: Buffy Season 8, in part, works as an adjunct to the t.v. show because it continually introduces characters which make the story: Satsu, Twilight, Rene, Lady Genevieve, the faux Buffy, and so on.

My question is this: when will new characters be introduced so Angel's world can expand? You've shown your immense creativity and capacity for this before. In a way, a series restricted to Angel, Illyria, and Spike - along with vampire Gunn (and Betta George, of course) - and introducing new characters - seems more in line with continuity then bringing the whole gang back... Just a thought.

Hi again, Mr. Lynch. I just want thank you, for answering my post on the recently Buffy issue. I only have a few questions.

1. What type of consveration do you think Illyria and Fred would ever have ? And could Fred ever forgive Illyria for killing her and totally changing her whole existence, or vice versa ?
Because Fred gave Illyria humanity.

2. And though I am sure this is not a spoiler. How do you think Angel and Spike would react to hearing about Buffy's new paramour ?
I know one hand, either would be so grateful she wan't dating the Immortal. And Spike's reaction would be that he had hit the slayer jackpot.
Angel I am not sure, could ever get over the shock.
I have been telling other's I think Spike would ship Buffy/Satsu, as long as he got to watch or had a threesome.

Example, Spike and Angel through some miracle of hell, to both tortue them have heard news of Buffy.
Angel: ..........
So shocked he doesn't move.
Spike:....... OH YEAH !!!!!!

Three hours later, Angel hasn't moved.
Spike "Angel, wake up this is great, Buffy isn't with the douche bag, and it's hot slayer chicks !"

Angel "My love my only one, my soulmate."
*broods*

Spike "Idiot."

1. Gwen was seen using her electric powers. Will it be revealed what happened to L.I.S.A.?

2. Will the fate of Eve be revealed?

3. Will Groos back story between the end of episode 3 and Angel 4 be revealed?

Now some what ifs...

1. An Angel and Supernatural crossover.

2. Connor and Dawn hooking up. (assuming Dawn isn't a giant anymore.)

3. Illyria versus Evil Willow from season 6 of Buffy.

It's funny but I feel exactly the opposite that Clint in his post above does.

I think what has put me off of the Buffy series is the introduction of characters that I am meant to care about, but don't.

I am not totally against new characters in principle, I love Betta George and Beck, and I even like Spyder, but they tend to interact with the characters I already love, and the focus is not totally on them.

I for one love seeing Gunn, Lorne, Groo and Connor back and the way you are using them. (Groo's dialogues is killing me, in a good way) Lets face it they were excellent characters, I am attached (yes even Groo) and I am thrilled to see them again. The characters I didn't love in the series, Nina and Gwen, I think are being used well here. I am interested in what happens to them.

And I for one would love to see Cordy and Lilah back, and I wouldn't mind any kind of wanking to achieve it.

If Wes can come back, so should they.
Could they? There, that's a question.

Hi Brian, loving Angel: ATF so far.

1) Definitely looking forward to Spike: After the Fall. Is it proving to be more difficult to write because it's a kind of flashback? It seems like all the stakes are removed... we know Spike and Illyria will survive it mostly intact.

2) I assume you weren't planning on writing the Spike series off the bat. Will the schedule of Angel: ATF allow you to insert/follow up on any story points you might come up with in the writing of Spike?

3) Any plans for Holtz's sidekick Justine in either series? She kinda dropped off the face of the Earth after the season 4 opener and I imagine she'd be up to something interesting in hell.

Thanks!

This series is fantastic - the characterization, dialogue and humour are all perfect. Awesome work.

Do you know if the series still going to be 12 issues, or do you think there's any chance of an expansion on that amount, or any follow up series etc? And on that note, do you think you would become involved in a full out Season 6 if that ever happened?

Given Buffy's recent bedroom activity, any chance of Angel & Spike following suite anytime soon? ;)

Heyy big fan of the comics so far just wondering a few things..

1. I know this isn't a big deal or anything but does being in Hell-A do wonders for Lornes complection or did you guys just forget to add his little dark green blemishes? I've always liked the little patterns on his face.

2. Those two chicks with the pink and blue hair at lornes place are the Furies right? Cause that's who they remind me of although their hairstyles are throwing me off a bit.

3. And I was just wondering when do you come up with most of your ideas? Are you just sitting on the toilet and something pops into your head and you have to run and get a piece of paper? Or do have like set-times when you need to just write. Do you set quotas for yourself on a daily basis? Or do you wait and let the ideas hit you whenever they may.

First off, thanks for the add. And secondly, thanks for bringing Angel back into my dreary little life. You have captured the tone of the show perfectly--so much so that I feel like I'm watching the show and everything is all right with the world again.
Ok, let's see....what to ask......hmmmm....Oh! What happened to Angel's tattoo? It's been missing in action all season. Ha! I said season. Really feels like a show! So, yeah. What's the deal with the tattoo? And while we're on the subject...when did he get the tattoo? Seems like an Angelus thing to do...but did they do tattoos back in the powdered wig days, or even in the funny looking telephone/horse and carriage days? Did he get it after he was ensouled? Either way, there must be an interesting story there. Maybe if you have time, during the course of this series you can do a one shot about it. Just a crazy thought from a not-too crazy fan.
But, really, I love the sho...err, comic. Keep rockin', Brian.

Loved Issue Five!!!

1. In Issue 5 are the two guys standing outside of the coffee house thing in Silver Lake based on Jay and Silent Bob?

2. How did you get all the ideas for the champions that Team Angel has to fight?

3. In Spike:After the Fall will we see any "Asylum" and "Shadow Puppets" alumni?

Keep up the good work sir!!

Thank you for answering our questions.

1. Where is Angelus? Will that be addressed?

2. Any chance that we will see Darla and Dru make an appearance?

3. Will Lilah ever return to try to help Wesley? Will she even be mentioned? No way she wouldn't be biting nails somewhere to get to him.

4. After ATS ends, is there ANY chance that you could write some issues of Buffy, season 8? Is that allowed or do you have a contract with IDW that prevents it?

5. Why hasn't Groo asked Angel about Cordy? Like where she is?

6. Will Gunn be the next souled vampire? I think that's a really cool idea and if Angel ever goes big screen, Gunn would have to be there.

7. Any chance of a cross-over, ATS and Buffy? That would rock.

Thanks again for taking time to include fans in your daily life this way, it means a lot. Goes without saying but this comic is fantastic.

Hey,

1)How come Angel was able to beat back Spike in issue2 when he's just a human?

2)Since you've said that after "After the fall" you want to take a long vacation, does this mean that you won't write anymore Spike comics?

3)Does Chris Ryall like Spike?

4)Why are the Everybody's dead and Spike:ATF series only 5-4 issues long, why not more?

5)If you were asked to write a Spike movie, would you do it?

6)Are there any big upcoming changes coming for Spike? I mean Angel is human, Gunn is an evil vamp, Illyria is seemingly out of control and Fred is sorta back because of it, Wes is dead and incorporeal.

Bye

PS: Good news(for you), E'sD was sold out in my comic store, i had to order it online.

Angel: After the fall is a pretty cool guy. Eh kills demons and doesn't afraid of anything.

Questionz:

how long has gunn been a vampire?

does Angel have items?

will Spike become an hero?

which issue will discuss the disapearence of LA from the rest of the world? I have been wondering it for some time.

Hey Brian thanks for doing such an amazing job! The fifth issue of After the Fall is the best one yet. It even beats the best of the Joss-written Buffy issues. And obviously, thanks for doing this Q&A podcast; now, onto the questions:

1) How do you feel about A:AtF being interpreted as a metaphore for the War in Iraq? A group of self-styled saviours take down an evil, yet stable, regime, which causes the region to become hell on Earth for the people who live there.

2) How small is the chance that A:AtF and/or S:AtF will reveal the lastnames of Spike and Angel?

3) In Illyria's timeslips we saw Spike and Angel in the future. How definitely is this the future for them? and did you and Joss talk this through specifically? (I know you already said it has nothing to do with the upcoming arc for Buffy issues 16-19, but can't you tell us you lied ;) ?)

4) How long does writing one issue take?

5) How do you feel about the change in the art team for A:AtF?

6) You mentioned that you're working on a TV show; can you tell us anything about it.

7) Who was the girl mentioned in Issue 1, that they (W&H?) killed. Fred or Cordelia? W&H didn't kill them directly. They were only indirectly responsible for Fred's death, but it was Cordelia's death that gave Angel the vision about the Circle of the Black Thorne (which opened his eyes?).

Anyway, once again thanks for the amazing job you're doing. When you first started this series, what I really wanted to know was what happened that night in the alley. But after five issues, I just really want to know what's going to happen to them now.

Doing an awesome job on After the Fall thus far Brian, keep it up.

My questions:

Is the scar under Gunn's eye an homage to Gunn wearing an eye patch in "Old Friends"?

I've noticed that whenever a character experiences a timeslip, thier clothing and appearence changes to indicate the time they are "slipping" into, ie, PuppetAngel, LiamAngel, FutureSpike etc. When Spike timeslips with Spider in issue 4, is Spike "slipping" back to his human days as William, or to his early vampire days? They seem to be standing in sunlight so I'm guessing it's his human years, but you never know.

How is Spider able to timeslip back all those years? If she's human she shouldn't be born yet. Does this indicate that Spider was actually around and wearing pink dresses during Spike's human/early vampire days?

Are the Loan Shark's fishy minions the Sunnydale Swim team from "Go Fish"?

Did Spike ever pay the Loan Shark back the kittens he owed from "Tabula Rasa"?

What's the deal with Spike holding a scythe like weapon in the future? Is it supposed to be THE scythe? Buffy and Fray's scythe? If not, why couldn't it have been just any old weapon, why have it drawn like the scythe?

Are the Senior Partners the same beings as "the Wolf, Ram and Hart"? Illyria remembers them from her Primordial days, does this mean that they are Old Ones?

Are dragons, werewolves and splendin beasts different types of demon, or are they different creatures entirely?

The demon's we're seeing in HelLA, were they always living in LA or are they natives to whatever dimension it's now in?

We've seen that only humans can be vamped and not demons. We're never going to see a vampLorne or a vampDoyle. Do you think that Connor (in theory) could be vamped? Is he human enough or would his demon parentage prevent this from happening? Geeky question I know, I'm just wondering if it was theoreticly possible.

In After The Fall 4 & 5, Angel's tattoo on his back is missing is this because he got it when he was a vampire and now he is human? Does it just fade away now that he is a human?

Hello and I wanted to say you have done an amazing job with Characters that i have grown very fond of over the years. Thank you for caring about that, but now to my question.

I know the standard response to the Angel and Buffy comments (Will we see Buffy in the Angel comics, why not?), is that her and Angel's romance had run it's course and they each have their own tales to tell, but realistically do you think that Angel and Buffy is truly over? They fed off eachother and watching the TV series after they were split up, the references both named and implied made such a huge impact on the characters decisions, even up to them relying on eachother in the final episodes for both series. Angel in Buffy, and Angel going to Giles and Willow (help not received) to save Fred. Do you truly feel you can end Angels saga without at least implying closure once and for all with his true love?

ok you've stated there wont be a buffy crossover obviously because angels in hell and buffy is a year and a half ahead of angel, what about in season 9 of buffy?joss has said in an interview that season 9 of buffy would take place a couple of years in the future after s8. Angels human now,and well spikes alive and has been since season 5,wouldnt there be a crossover somewhere in the mix of that?or them making appearances since Angel: A.T.F. would be in the past?.

Faiths always been a character that was big on the crossovers for angel, could we possibly see her?

Can you explain to me the concept for spike after the fall? and where first night fits into angel?im thinking the first night of the fight in the ally.idk.

There was speculation that angel and illyria went into frays future which you confirmed wasnt true, would you like to venture into that later in the series?

Dana the crazy slayer, does anyone know whats up with her?

Me again. One more question. Will it be explained how Lorne, Gunn, Gwen, and anyone else that I failed to mentioned seem to remember Connor when the only people that should remember his existance are Angel and Wesley?

1) In Spike:Asylum and Spike: Shadow Puppets, why does Betta George like Spike so much considering our favorite vampire can be mean sometimes?

2) What political candidates would Betta George, the Dragon, and Spider vote for?

3) Is the fiery man Angel fighting a fire elemental?

4) What would be your reaction if Joss had Brad Meltzer make either Xander or Spike the "closest, most unsuspected" traitor in Buffy: Season 8?

5) What is the theme of Angel: After the Fall?
