Current mood:  happy

Howdy!

Sorry I havent blogged for so long- have been neglecting myspace in favour of being constantly glued to gawker.com, youtube and perezhilton.com- its a busy life!So much celebrity porn, so little time!

So anyhoo, my operation was very successful and i have been recuperating chez mes parents and taking it easy. It was so lovely to hear from you guys and gals, wishing me luck and sending me your nicenesses.

So basically Cocoon will not be coming out now. I have decided after this big lifechange that I need to address my priorities and do sthg different for a bit- time for a new challenge! Challenge Strum! Like Lisa Scott Lee before me I shall rise again- hahahahahahaha. No but seriously, you are all so superfabulous- please stay in touch and swing by every so often as I will update the site with other tracks from 'the album that never was'.

Now i am off to marry a billionaire...

Ta ta!

x

Oooh, I was just about to leave you a random message as well.

Erm, honey. You can't marry a billionaire as we're engaged. You don't want to disappoint mummy Strum who has chosen me as your arranged jewish husband!

- Matt -

So glad to hear your doing well. I was wondering when you'd get a new blog up.

I'm sad that your not releasing Cocoon. I didn't download it because I was waiting for the release (you know, illegal downloading, no roylties and such). I hope the doesn't mean the music career is done. All the songs I've heard from you are amazing!! Don't stop the music!!

Great to hear you are safe & sound - best of luck with your future projects. Will they involve music or something different? I'm sure Sita would like another song from you ;)

im so happy to hear that you are ok. i must admit to getting a little worried after reading your last entry and not hearing owt else. only picked up a "coccoon" promo (sorry - the royalties are yours if you wan'em) a couple of months back but its been a constant on me cd player & ipod and youre right up there with me favourite artists. "bad haircut". wow.

anyhows. glad that youre well. wish you all the best with this new chapter in your life.

peace/love/happiness

Great to hear, that it all went well - and I have to say, that I hope everything in the future goes well.

Over at The Hotstuff Files, we'll still love 'the album that never was'.

Hey Up Strummy,

I think you should take an entirely new musical direction involving fishnet tights, gothic basques and make-up and noisy cover versions of Nick Cave songs.

Or maybe that's just my wacky fantasies....

Hope you decide to do something involved with the world of tune anyways, you fucking rule!

I downloaded the whole album from Woolworths.co.uk legally, so hopefully you should be seeing some royalties from it! Gutted it's not going to be released though - MP3/WMA/whatever is just not the same as CD quality! :(

Oh well... Don't give up on music, I wish ya all the best of luck for your future plans!
