I was told by management that the camera room where I’m supposed to be posted is going to be moved from where it’s currently located (in a nice little 8-foot-by-8-foot room) to a glorified closet located at the Mens Dept. fitting rooms. That way, I can watch the fitting rooms while I cover the cameras.
What’s the room where the camera gear is currently located in going to be used for? I had a hard time believing it myself -- a "computer learning center."
Give me a fucking break.
Considering that it took management about eighteen months to get the (incomplete) camera system installed and running (a decent electrical contractor could have gotten the job done in two weeks), and considering that the move would require some rewiring, which would require a 20-foot lift . . .
I’m not holding my breath on this.
As for the "computer learning center," the cash spent on setting this up would be better spent if they just threw the bills into a metal trash can, added some high-octane gasoline, and followed the gas with a lit match.
