I can't believe that my baby turned 8 yesterday!  Where did the years go??  I felt so young and unprepared when I gave birth to Conor on 12/27/99.  I remember holding him when he was about 1 hour old and we were alone in the room and I said to him "I don't know what I'm doing here.  We're going to have to figure this out together."  And you know what... we have!  It's been an amazing ride and I wouldn't change a minute of it for anything. 

I look at Conor now and he's getting so tall... his feet are almost as big as mine!  He's not my little baby anymore.  He reads books to me now instead of the other way around.  His smile lights up a room, even when he's causing trouble!!  I have been blessed with this amazing child and I thank God every day that he is part of my life.
