Iv said it befor, and I'll say it again, Singapore is one of my favorite places... its got it all.  Its clean,modern, safe, multicultural, organized, its a breath of fresh air in an Asian wasteland.  When you hop on an airplane, for hours in every direction you find nothing but unorganized, archaic systems of operations handed down from the fucking stone age to people who just stopped living in caves and bamboo huts. But now they drive cars and motor bikes with billowing clouds of noxious black smoke, try to mimic western society yet condemn it at the same time.  Corruption, garbage, zealotry, confucianism, nepotism, nepocracy, laziness, dark skinned "skinheads"wearing swaztika patches on their arms and a hat that says Anti Facist(obviously these people have no knowledge whatsoever of what a nazi or skinhead is, or possibly even facism...uneducated derelicts)What I'm getting at is that Singapore is an island,  nice one at that.  I can think of few western(not just american) cities that can even compare.  I am here for only one day as i must return back to indonesia this afternoon after my visa is finished, but i dont want to go.  I want to stay here (even though i realize how poor i really am just by being here).  I will be hopping onto a boat in four hours, it will be a fourty five minute trip but its a strange kind of time machine that will be taking me back to... fuck, i dont even know if there is a time period to compare with SE Asian lifestyle.  Lets just say...the plysotien period. 
   Now, dont get me wrong, were i live has its possitive sides too, i DID wake up this morning at 6 AM, one of the first time since befor i had hair under my arms, so perhaps i am a bit pessimistic.  This was supposed to be a good letter saying how nice Singapore is.  So lets just leave it at that.  Singapore is a nice place.

So... whats up with me?  I just finished my contract teaching, so I am currently unemployed.  I will be working with my brother outsourcing seafood to Vietnam, hopefully everything will work out, its just difficult to find a competant reliable, trustworthy buisness minded person to work with out here(in indonesia).  So... thats whats happeneing with me.  And as usual, i have very few deffinate plans in my life right now.  If you have any advice, let me know.  But just so you know, I'm not coming back to America.  I dont like it there.  You can thank american women for that one.  And Bush.  And American Airlines with their expensive return tickets.  Anyways, enough of this ramble.  I hope everyone out there is doing well, I miss you all like you couldnt possibly understand.  Take care, and for gods sake, please someone reply to this.  I dont often get any kind of mail from anyone.  so... yeah... peace, I'm out...
