Well, I've been waiting a long time to write this blog, and I can finally announce that:
Starting January 29th
Mark Kaye & Kris Gamble are
BACK ON THE AIR!
The Hot Morning Mess, as you may recall, was abruptly cancelled on November 1, and Kris Gamble, Ron Ross and I were all unceremoniously fired. Almost immediately our agents started fielding offers from stations across the country. We explored opportunities in Dallas, San Francisco, Florida, and right here in DC.
After lots of interviews and tons of phone calls, and trips around the country, and hours of negotiations, I am happy to announce that Kris and I are moving our award-winning morning show to
WAPE-FM in Jacksonville, FL.

WAPE is a fantastic station with a long standing heritage. It is the Number 1 station in Jacksonville in every daypart except Morning Drive. That's where we come in. Our mission is to bring the morning ratings up to match the high standards set by the incredible team already in place.
Jay Styles, Chase Daniels, Dave-O, and everyone else at The Big Ape have created an amazing station. Kris and I are proud to be the newest members of the team. It's very exciting! (Click on their names above to learn more about them!)
The radio station is beautiful, their facillities are state-of-the-art, we are 5 miles from the ocean, and we are going to be working for a company that appreciates and values its employees, its community, and respects and caters to its audience. We are truly blessed!
