Wow, a great night from every single act on this bill.
Acid House Kings

The Legends

Don Lennon opened up. This dude is like a more dead pan Jens Lekman meets Honeydrips which is a great thing. It was just him and his guitar, and he used his vocals to create rhythms, dis Dave matthews, and sing about his debut album. His cd was sold out as I tried to buy it. Don't know if he really hates the world. His best thing was his last song where he kept saying "dance music" while swinging his head back and forth to create effect, slowly singing "northsix," "cds" "$10."
The Ivy league were pretty damn good too. These brooklyn boys mixed it up with good ole country guitars meets the Thrills and indie at the same time. I guess they're letting the Legends and Acid House Kings stay at their home.
The Legends is the blonde dude from AHK, and it's good stuff. AHK and them shared the drummer, keyboardist, and bassist tonight. his english sounds much better then my man in AHK. I would of thought all swedes spoke english perfectly.
AHK didn't play "but i was wrong, swedish hearts, mondays are like tuesdays, or Almost"
but they did end it with "We're the Acid House Kings." so I was very happy. Those last 4 dongs I've mentioned are the depressing ones, tonight they mentioned that their songs are ones your mother would like or listen to. Julia looked so happy and danced with no shoes on. Always a smile thoughtout the set. Niklas was going on about how Rock n'Roll they are. It's was great man.
Makes me mad that I missed the whole show at the Cake Shop.
