To the pricks who keep stealing our merch I would like to say a warm thank you from all of us here at teenagersintokyo. Thank you for helping us to remain a poor band. It is thanks to idiots like you guys (who can't afford the very reasonable $15 a t-shirt) that australian musos have to work twice as hard, and make absolutely no money even when they appear to be doing very well.
On the weekend 10 shirts were stolen. That's $150 bucks to us. That's a weeks worth of hired rehearsals, half a boss pedal, a huge amount of guitar strings or a f--kload of picks.
Those t-shirts were hand printed. Not just because we have a dear love for feeling like we're working in a screen printing sweat shop but mainly because we wanted to charge our fans a reasonable price for our merch.
This is not the first time that our merch has been stolen. If you have stolen our merch then next time you see us play a show I suggest you make a generous donation. you pricks.
With Kindest Regards, Sophie Tokyo.
P.S. If you are hard done by and stole the shirt because you actually couldn't afford the $15 then I apologise but we are really very nice people and if you'd explained the situation then we would have given you a t-shirt some badges and possibly a magnet made by samantha's own father.
