Hot-off-the-press news! Paolo Nutini is bursting with pride to reveal that come this New Year's Eve he'll become the first artist ever to perform at the Hogmanay celebrations in both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

That's right - Paolo will ring in New Year 2009 with not one, but two shows: first performing at Edinburgh's Concert in the Gardens at 9pm, before hot-footing it over to Glagow's Hogmanay at George Square to take the headline slot at 11pm.
