Just thought, I would start sharing what motivates me to make sure I get two vacations a year and on a good year, three.

I pay my credit cards off each and every month. Thus, I stay in my budget and keep control of on my spending. I'd throw them out if it were such a strain to not have one so I found a way to get rewarded. (Funny that they call them that, no?) So, staying in budget means I didn't use credit, I paid cash. But, in addition to that I also just gave myself miles. (rewarded)  The fun is that I use them for my vacations. You know, the one I take every six months to Hawaii and any place else that may just happen to come up with my crowd of friends. But so far, I am addicted to the Big Island and surfing! I'll be sharing with you other ways I budget in my blogs to come. Today, let's focus on the airline ticket.

So, Rewards Plus is used for all my purchase and expenses for my job. I get reimbursed and I get points. These points never expire, they never go away, and I win!  First, I started by placing all my bills. Let's see that would be anything that a monthly budget consists of (cable, phone, newspapers, magazines, internet, cell, groceries, gas and anything that I do that is not a extravagant purchase on my card. Extravagant purchase are another story!)

However, I have found that being flexible in my travels benefits me the most and helps me find the cheapest flights. The best way to find them is through research. Here is a helpful article to read how to start your research, with hints you will need to know in the process.

Also, do a search for multiple airlines at once. I like these (go ahead start your research)
