Thursday, November 06, 2008
Hello everyone

Hope you all had a happy Halloween.

Very exciting news...the Seventh Tree Special Edition CD & DVD has now hit the streets in the UK and is available to order online or in person at your local record emporium.

For all the new Deers out there, here's the DVD track listing:

Live at De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill on Sea

Clowns (Instrumental) - Behind The Scenes / Happiness / You Never Know / Caravan Girl / Monster Love / Little Bird

Videos
A&E / Happiness / Caravan Girl

TV performances
Clowns / Road To Somewhere

To celebrate this release we have uploaded Monster Love to the digital insert so that now, as promised, all the new video tracks filmed live on the Summer Solstice are available to view. We've also uploaded more delicious Frapp goodies in the shape of high resolution downloads of the photographs of Alison and Will, and brand new wallpapers. Hope you like them.

Goldfrapp are still on the road in the UK with just a few live dates remaining. It really is your last chance to catch them live this year at:

09/11 London Brixton Academy SOLD OUT
10/11 London Brixton Academy

There are still some tickets available for Monday's show at See Tickets.

If you think that Seventh Tree is the best album of 2008 please cast your vote here: Q4music. You can also choose your favourite track. And finally, the artwork for Seventh Tree has been nominated for Best Art Vinyl 2008. To see the artwork for all the nominations and to vote, you can go here: Art Vinyl . This is wonderful, I'd be thankful to God for more Gig venue's/Dates mind ,Will's synths etc and Alisons singing and performing tear at the very fabric of my soul. Even B sides have more right to be in the charts than many x

Got it already. It's great. The only problem i have with it is that i would like to have the option of watching the live tracks all together instead of clicking each one at a time. I Hope a full DVD of this tour comes out as some of the live versions i've heard are just unbelievable! The band is in top form. Looking forward to the Dublin show tomorrow night. Please play Black Cherry and Utopia.
No need for the Pole Dancers!

I have to agree that it's slightly annoying not being able to watch all the live tracks continuously. But seeing how this DVD is basically a freebie tacked on to the album, I can't really complain. The videos look great, especially Happiness. Please release a new full live DVD! And ALL your promotional videos on DVD too!

This release really pissed me off considering I had bought the "special edition" of the first release of this album. These records companies need to stop doing this to fans , first releasing regular (or supposed special editions in this case) of albums and then releasing other special editions with extra stuff that we'd have to fork out some more money to get the same album just to get the few extra things. Just release a new live DVD already and save us the heartache. You should also release a DVD with all the beautiful videos. None of them were ever played on US MTV (except for a couple of vids played on Logo).

I third Sakis' emotion. As much as i love the frapp and want to support them, I think we all agree that we'd rather see the extra money go DIRECTLY to Allison and Will.
By the way, come back to the states soon for a more extensive tour!!! pleeease!
