Last night, my trio and I had a life-changing experience. We were honored with the chance to have a coaching with the wonderful Irena Grafenauer. It was, mind-blowing! Such energy, such honesty. And the women plays the flute like the goddess she is! I mean, no joke. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to be in her presence, and really feel that all three of us took very personal, and very special away. I'm, as always, in need of a few more days.. a bit more distance.. and little more time.. to digest it all. I think that I left a better person.. and for sure, a better instrumentalist. She is like, a healer. A part of me was so sad that it has taken so long to meet her. The other side, and maybe the more mature and also the newest side of me is convinced that everything has its timing and the time was just right for me to meet her, a few weeks shy of 29.

The weather here in Salzburg is dreamlike.. off to swim a bit, have a nice lunch and then play Debussy's Trio... man, life is good!
