In response to Miss sovereigns comments , I've spoken to my Dad and he says he'd be happy to adopt you if you think it will give you a leg up .

The 21-year-old rapper - who is enjoying chart success in the US - thinks it is unfair she is attacked in Britain for her sense of style, while Lily is lauded for her quirky dress sense.
Lady Sovereign told the Observer Music Monthly magazine: 'I'm not appreciated. You get some of the media hating people like me 'cause they're chavish but Lily is the biggest chav going and everyone seems to love her.' The 'Public Warning' singer insists she doesn't hate Lily, but thinks she has had it easy, because she is the daughter of successful comic actor Keith Allen.
She added: 'I'm not hating on her but someone like Lily Allen, just 'cause her dad's famous, doesn't have to work as hard as someone like me.' The Wembley-born MC also claims her next album is going to be so controversial, her record label Def Jam will 's**t themselves'.
The rapper - who can count Nas and LL Cool J as her label mates - said: 'If they think my current album is irregular the next one's going to be pretty f**ked up. I've got so many things to say. They're going to s**t themselves.'

I've met the Sov, shes actually very lovely.

As for her music being crap...well, it's a totally different style to Lilys.
Shes just highlighting the fact that they both possibly share chavvy roots yet one is loved for it yet the other is attacked for it.
It's about as useful as putting Mods and Rockers together in the same room.

Same era, different styles.

As for the comments about Lilys dad...well, thats a bit out of order and your response is very mature Lily.
But everyone slags somebody for something.

I tend to ignore what people say and just enjoy the music.

Not sure we have an equivalent that exactly fits a chav - they're kinda like hoochies and trailer trash put together? maybe a troochie? LOL I can think of one word people use but it's not appropriate! They wear a lot of burberry knock offs and big ear rings and pull their hair back in the "Croydon facelift" LOL google that one you'll laugh your ass off! Guys usually stereotyped wearring two piece jogging suits. There's a wax statue at Madame Tussaud's of PM Tony Blair as a chav, it's quality!

I'm sorry, but I didn't even know Keith was your father when I first heard your music. I had heard of him, obviously, but I wasn't aware until I heard someone say on radio 1 (Moyles or somebody like that) that he was...:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I do admire the work Lady Sov' did with the Ordinary Boys, but I can't say I've heard any of her other material yet. I imagine her stuff sounds like a lot of other UK Grime artists trying to make a name for themselves.

The reason for your success is most definitely not your father, but the fact you can sing, hold a tune, you are full of charm, intelligence and honesty and above all; you are unique.

But I'm sure you and most of your other fans were already aware of this.
