	The Hippy Nuts	Now, hey, Joy, why would you advise against skipping The States, then take a swipe at "most of America's best?"  Don't you know that bruises a person like me who happens to be  from Texas and lives in New York City.   I am a big fan of Lily's and quite an anglophile.   Reminds me of the time I went to see The Police in concert, then met UB40 afterwards and congratulated them on their opening set.   Instead of appreciating my compliment,  they went on to talk about how Brits were so far ahead in taste and had been into Reggae for a long time. I vow not to generalize about Brits when I gig there.   It sucks to be a concert and hear some Engliish musician talk about American television for example.  I just want them to shut up and play their music because I don't know what they're talking aout since I haven't had a tv. in years.    Thanks to Lily for making me laugh and sing along. 	Joy Thompson	I understand what you're saying but by the same token I definitely think Britain and Canada are way ahead of  The States right now in terms of the music scene. We just are, My Chemical Romance, Jessica Simpson, Daughtry {I love Chris but honestly} the crap that's coming out and being focused on is just that. Crap, the real good folks like John Mayer and Amos Lee barely get a wayward glance. That's why Britain {and Canada} and people like Lily here are leading the way in music right now and that's why she shouldn't cancel the tour. We need music like this. now's the time to make an impact. Not to say The States doesn't have good music {duh} but there really isn't much evidence of that in the media at the minute. Britain is giving the deserved {Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Oasis, James Morrison} the attention. Rewarding the meritorious, I just don't see that happening in the States right now.
