Yo,

So, I had eggs Benedict at this deli called nate'n'als yesterday, it was so yummy, such a great place for breakfast. I remember my mum used to take me there when I was a kid. It's been there for over 60 years and is definitely worth the visit, some amazing people watching to be done. This guy on the table next to Em and I put 6 of those little bowls of sugar in his porridge; seriously it was like 1:1 part sugar to porridge. And on the other table next to us, there were two LA dads in their 40's with about five little girls between them, being very tolerant and encouraging (I don't see this in England much) patiently answering the barrage of questions all in the name of education, until of course, one said " but how does the baby get in the mom's tummy", very well swerved by Dad, but I was dying to hear his explanation. There was also a letter from the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger on the wall; I can't believe he is actually Governor, just hilarious. Nate'n 'als if you're ever in town, go. and have the hash browns .

So we drove from they're to Santa Monica and broke into my Auntie Kai's house, she was asleep but we woke her up and brought her up to Hollywood for the day. We were staying in these serviced apartments, that the label had put us in but. It was a basement flat and the door was flimsy and it smelled gross and we just didn't feel safe there .Now I'm no diva but I am here for three weeks, so we checked in to my favourite hotel The Chateau marmont.


Now I've never stayed in the room that I'm in before but rumour has it John Belushi died in here, I'm going to try and channel his Blues Brothers don- ness and get it on my album, maybe I'll write a song from his viewpoint, about the last few hours of his life, rumour also has it the last people to visit him here were Robin (not to be confused with Robbie) Williams and Robert DeNiro. Spooky Huh?

So we sat round the pool for the afternoon which was so nice, everyone hated us because my Auntie Kai is so loud and was getting progressively more drunk as the afternoon went on, she is amazing though and she had Emily and I in hysterics all afternoon. The pool is lovely as you can see

I got fucking hot though so we went and did a spot of shopping, on the way to the Grove (a mall) we drove past a farmers market, now in LA they have valet parking everywhere, butt I had never seen anything like this before, it was amazing, valet parking for bikes, yep bicycles. About 600 bikes all in a row being parked. Wow, what happened to chaining them to a railing? So I bought some khiel stuff for my hair and a skin for my Mac book air (I dropped it the other day) and came back to the hotel. The valet parking at the grove was amazing too I got a picture, why don't they do this shit in England
