	joseph Joseph Knight	Very interesting points. I also want to add that I think the whole " Hero" song was a reaction to Peter Kay's piss-take of the Xfactor programme. Simon Cowell was upset by the "Geradine's Winner's Song" doing better than Leon's, and Peter Kay is from Bolton as is Laura. I think getting rid of Laura was a message to Peter Kay not to mess with the Xfactor image. Also Cheryl Cole is to blame for giving Laura really rubbish songs to sing and dressing her like a frump every week. She's gave all the best Whitney/Jackson/Aguillera/Carey songs to Alexandra. 	Lynsey	i totally agree! Whilst Laura is my 2nd fave (after alexandra) I think the result tonight was awful.I like Ruth too and there is no way either of them are weaker singers than both Daniel or Eoghan.As far as i'm concerned those two are way behind the others and it annoys me how each week they are getting through.I can understand more Eoghan because the teenies will vote for him cuz they think he is cute, which is annoying in itself, but daniel who the heck is voting for him? I do think Louis should've taken it to deadlock, because he made out it was a difficult decision so why not let the public vote decide? Ruth has been bottom 2 before and may well have gone, or it could've been laura but at least this stupid bottom 2 would've been a bit more fair? It just seems Louis did it to be tactical and get back at cheryl! 	Charlie	I completely agree with you on the whole Laura/Ruth thing. I was too, left feeling absolutely shocked and kinda upset. And Daniel? Who is voting for him!? Out of the standards of everyone's performances tonight, it definitely shouldn't have been Laura or Ruth in the bottom two. Laura was one of my favourites from the start, aswell as Ruth. I was mad at Louis too, just because I think it would've been fair for him to let it go to deadlock, even if he thought Ruth was the better singer. Seeing as it is the public who vote. Hmm, Diana is my personal favourite and I think that she could probaly pull off a Mariah song anyway, and yeah I can see where you're coming from when you say that it would be fair. 	*Katy Darling*	For some reason I wouldn't have thought that Ruth would be your favourite! I think Ruth is fab - I am glad that she stayed. Neither she or Laura deserved to be in the bottom two this week, they are both strong singers, BUT Ruth is a more dynamic performer with real stage presence. It was right that she got through. Ruth and Diana have been my favourites from the start however I am beginning to think that Diana, although very sweet, is incredibly limited and a bit of a novelty act. Her little 'yelps' on the end of each sentence are starting to wear thin. Anyway thank god bland Mariah boring Carey week is over... Incidentally, I had never watched the x-factor before this series.
