Current mood:  tired
Well...I had quite the time at the NATPE Educational Foundation workshop today. Didn't get to meet anyone, which was disappointing, but it was a good chance to at least hear from some of the big names in the industry and get some tips. I rode down to Needham with Jermaine (who, shockingly, was late), and then got a ride back with Corey, Jeff and Brian. I was probably the best-dressed Mount rep (sorry, Nate), and there were quite a few of us. I was surprised at how many people we got to come down; I think it might have been ten, or even a dozen. Not bad considering most of us were coming from Gardner and points west. I asked a pretty nice question about whether an Associate's Degree was enough to get in or if a Bachelor's was preferred (bottom line: It can be done with an Associate's, but Bachelor's is much better), and I chatted with a BC student about what we did with the Rotary Auction. The thing was geared more towards juniors and seniors in 4-year schools than freshmen like myself (it's hard to think of myself as a freshman when I'm practically halfway done at the Mount), but I got valuable experience out of it. And I got to dress up and be a sexy beast, which is always nice. I get to replicate the feat on Tuesday as well, for my TV II project.

Speaking of TV II, this Idol thing is just killing me. It's soooo much work, and I slacked off so much that I have soooooo little time to do it in. I think I can get it done (assuming nobody horns in on my signed out time again), but it'll be real tough. Joel doesn't think I can do it; I think I can prove him wrong.
