So ET's doing a promotional event for the new Knight Rider series outside Union Station in Toronto, check out the car, take pictures, enter a contest to win, blah blah blah that kinda thing..
ANYWAYS, I'm at the front of the line but the car hasn't arrived yet.... the ET host is talking to the crowd about how great the show is gonna be when.. da da da da! Here comes KITT on the back of a flatbed truck!
Shit looks CRAAAAAZY, flashin lights and all that. So they set up the ramp and the girl from the delivery crew drives KITT off and onto the street....
She hops outta the car to help the other dude with the ramp when...
THIS DUDE ACROSS THE WAY DROPS HIS COFFEE, BOLTS TO THE CAR, JUMPS IN AND SCRREEEEEEEECH!!!!!! Nothin but tail lights baby... the girl tries to run after it but too late honey, KITT has OFFICIALLY BEEN JACKED!!

SOOO anyway now it's a scene of total PANIC... the cops (who by the way, were no more than 20 meters away and numbered about 4-5) are APBing their asses off, promotional staff are goin nuts, the boss is RIPPING the delivery cats a new one, the girl who left the car RUNNING and the door OPEN is crying... and the ET host is looking around like "Is this a stunt or what?" Actually we were all thinking that so we hung around for another 20 mins.... still no KITT.
Sucks, cause I wanted to take a pic with the car and post it on the blog later... but NO WORRIES folks, I got a cool keychain and the phone number of the sweetie handing them out :) Go Breezay, it's ya birthday!
