Yesterday was a good day all around......

I was the featured artist at www.myxer.com (a website for Ringtones).  Over 6,000 different people downloaded our ringtone in a 24 hour period!  Pretty impressive.  Thanks to the guys at Myxer for picking me as the artist of the day.  You can also find our ringtones at www.rodneyhayden.com

We also finished up the new album yesterday.......can't wait for everyone to hear it.  It's by far the most country album I've recorded.  I wrote all 11 songs that we cut and for the first time my band played on the album.  Matt Slusher played guitar and mandolin.  Zach Samuell played drums.  David Whitbeck played upright bass, electric bass and sang harmonies.  I played acoustic guitar and sang, and Tommy Detamore played steel guitar, dobro and mixed and mastered the project.  Not sure of a release date yet.....but we should ship the first single off to radio by the end of the month and have it available by the end of July.

We'll be with Robert Earl Keen at Whitewater Amphitheatre tomorrow (Saturday) and a full week next week all over the state.  Check the calendar for all the dates we have booked.  Hope to see you all soon.
