Great to be in Italy!
Ironic though as I could only find greasy kebab shops and none of the legendary Italian food normally found in the everyday cafes yesterday. Italian food is easily the best in Europe, even surpassing France so i am hoping we will get more culinary luck tonight. I forget how German Milan is, very formal and conservative next to Barcelona.Another irony is that although this is the fashion capital of the world.... but, like Paris, the most predominant look on the streets is the ultra conservative, kitsch ,
traditional tart and cheese vibe!!
I love the passion of the people and the serious take on philosophy and classic mythology.
The air is rarified and thin, within the inner circle of killing Joke.Staying focused on the muse and the silence between the beats ....allowing the fire to burn off the necessary dead wood
We all have to sacrifice a lot for this to happen and learning how to breath the oxygen of inspiration on tour is quite an art in itself.
The traffic is something else, worse than London in the mid 90"s.
More old school gatherers here from all over Europe. Some very interesting characters.
Stefan ,otherwise known as" frenchy frenzy" made our day by turning up fresh from Lyons in France with some amazing red wine and a cornucopia of the most delicious cheese ever made!
The Brie had an effervescent aftertaste and the camembert was so fresh it was humming! Its texture was so runny like a custard cream ! mmmmm he even brought fresh bread ,4 kinds and proper glasses ,anticipating the backstage plastic cup syndrome.....genius!
