My two cents from the take it from what it's worth department. . .

You just need to find something that will draw a lot of attention to you. Preferably something positive. .. I think you should try to get on a reality show. Maybe Dancing With the Stars? You are as big a star as some of the people who are on that show. Most are B list celebrities. Just something so that people will know your face and name. They will want to know more about you, google your name, and find your music on here or on your sister's youtube. You are way more talented than a lot of the people who have been making it these days.

You have a beautiful voice! You have the tools to be a huge star! The only thing you could imrove on IMO is your stage presence. This happens with practice. Whenever you have free time just go to a Karaoke bar or keep doing those shows you do. Just something so that you can feel more comfortable on stage. & just do it at your house, sing Karaoke and record yourself.

Always remember to be grateful for EVERYTHING, even the things that seem bad, like not being able to compete on American Idol. Everything happens for a reason. God can see the bigger picture that we can't, he wants for you what you want for yourself. Just have faith in the plan and keep working towards your dream. Be humble.

Don't let the haters get to you. They are a blessing too. Just think of it this way, for every hater, there is someone who loves you. Think of the biggest stars, they have the most haters of all. Life is a double sided coin in all aspects. We know there is a negative side but we will be happier if we just try to focus on the positive side.

Good luck Joanna.  My granddaughter sings, I have 2 videos of her on my profile...she loves you.  She is 13 and wants to sing just like you...so you ARE already big.  We just gotta let the rest of the world know about you.  Keep it up girl.  ♥Susy♥

I will always be supportive in any and all that you do. When I saw you on American Idol  I told my family that I already picked you as the winner and they asked me why her? And I put your cd on and said "Listen" and they liked what they heard. From "Ultraviolet" then "4th of July" to " Tiptoe" your voice is so awesome !!! Joanna, You are a Beautiful, Talented woman who I know for a fact has a "Heart of Gold!" and you will be rewarded for all the good that you do. This fan supports you!

....JO-Anna, I've said this so many times, but to me, it'll never become trite. I believe in you, and I believe u are meant to do this. I've been here since the beginning even though your old management wasn't big on what the fans thought, but that didn't stop me. I am mad at myself for not being as close to you through your journey as a fan/friend as I could’ve and should've been. If there is one thing I've learned in life already is that we can't hold on to our "Could've and Should've been's". So, Yes!!! I'm here now, and here to stay. That is why you haven't moved off of my top for about 6 months now, and as long as you are willing to keep trying, you won't move off my top friends. You, along with CareBear and D.Cookie, have been my biggest inspirations in life. We've all been through shut doors and shafted opportunities, but as Miles would say "It's all about the climb", and she's absolutely right!!! It's not about the props and accomplishments primarily, it's about how you came to those, and what you had to struggle with to get them. Thanx to your perseverance (not sure if that's how u spell it), you've inspired me to get back into songwriting, and guess what? I sent my songs off, and got a contract, but there's a long story why I didn't sign it. Anywayz, I've always wanted to write with you, CareBear, and Caitlin and Will. That's why I'm headed to Tennessee in 3 weeks. I now know what I am capable of, and I have a confidence boost right now. Grrl, I will always be here, and I promise to GOD, I will never use you for fame like others may have done in the past. I don’t know if you could tell these past years that I’ve been serious about ur career, but I hope you do know now. So, Lift your head up, and you better keep on going. If u gotta write a revenge song…DO IT!!! It helps, and they make the best singles and hits. GOD Bless!!! Hey just remember, you’re my number one “Drifter”!!!....

I agree with a lot of Shelly's points, except the part about Dancing with the Stars. Going on another reality show is not a good idea, especially one that focuses solely on dance. Focus on the music and let people see your gift.

You are an inspiration to anyone and everyone with a dream. Don't think about the past and what could have been. Keep repeating the mantra "Everything happens for a reason" because it is the truth. You are immensely talented and your time to shine will come. I'm a huge fan of yours and will continue to support you. Know that each and everyone of your fans love you dearly. I'm excited to to hear about upcoming news and more music.
