Hey friends,
Today is my first day off school. The ester break has now begun. I don’t hav any school for about 3 whole weeks. Woohoo!!
Time to lay back watch tv all day long, surf the web till I get bored, sleep long hours, go out and party and… no wait, I can’t. I need to read books for school.
About 12 boring books. 5 for Dutch literature, 5 English literature and 2 historical books.

It’s not that I don’t like to read. I love to read. I just don’t like to read if the book is boring and I’m forced to read it!
Well not all of them are boring; I tried to pick those who have good reviews as much as possible. And about 4 books I’ve already read. And a few were pretty good actually.
Like Rosemary’s Baby (by Ira Levin), which I ended up adding on my "favorite books" list.
Currently I’m reading a book called: Sherry by Diana Lebacs. It’s a Caribbean literature book about a teacher who goes to live in the Netherlands to prove her luck in life (or something like that). I just began yesterday.

So now my tests are now over. Most of them went okay to good. At least I feel like they did. EXCEPT for math. Math was a real bitch . Like Simon Cowell (American Idol judge) would say: "It was a complete and utter disaster".
I don’t even want to think about it.

Besides reading, I also have a few other schoolwork. Like writting summaries on those books, also analyse them and also I must prepare for oral exams on them. That’s why I speak of an "easter break" and not a "vacation".

Okay, I don’t have much to write. I’m a bit tired, so I guess I’ll crawl into my bed and read some more. Let the reading marathon begin!!

Laterz,
Clay

Sounds great! I could do with a holiday myself (and I would almost KILL for more spare time to relax and just... read...!) Unfortunately can't afford to take time off right now.

Good luck with the reading! It was one of my favourite aspects of school! I enjoyed most of the books I read for my lists!

And, enjoy your holiday anyway! Good to be away from school for a while I suppose ;-)
Take care!!
