So we've got some big news here in Daddyville. Dennis and I have signed on to perform with punk legend Exene Cervenka and her band The Original Sinners. Yes, we'll actually be members of The Sinners. Exene has been a friend for a while now and it's quite the honor to be playing a few shows with her. Exene made her first splash with L.A. punk pioneers X in the late 70's. Rock n roll was never the same. Punk, before it had a uniform.
After twenty plus years of being a fan, I would've never dreamed I'd be in a band with the woman. A real thrill.
Our first of three shows together will be on June 28th @ Pop's in Sauget, IL. opening for Rancid. Other dates will be posted in the coming weeks.
