	dude	I was drunk and stoned..hanging with my Chukchansi Indian friend....he is a casino tribal member...Chukchansi Gold BABY!!!...My best friend in the world ...Jon Jon..a badass guitarist...plays with local talent and books acts at the casino....can you say Beach Boys and Heart........we were Yosemite High School jocks ...stoners...all of that..all hung out and enjoyed the 80's...well we are in our 20's now..My favorite time was this....late 80's///like 89//and he says he has a new band containg the keyboardist from a band called felony..they had a hit 80's song called the fanatic..it is on the valley girl soundtrack...so I get to meet danny the keyboardist from the band and his entire mountain family...great guy...then the drummer shows up...the drummer of Iron burtterfly...original and still pounding skins hippy badass...best drumsolo of the 60's drummer!!!//inna gadda da vidda....BABY!!!so my date during the jam throws up..too much partying....my friend we brought to hang passes out..and I and my new friends jam out..I dance around like a Indian BRAVE..which I am.....HELL YEAH>>CALIFORNIA BABY!!!!!   Posted by dude on March 31, 2008 - Monday - 3:58 AM [Reply to this]

We were so determined that we went to home depot and bought wire to tie down the hood of the car so we could still go! We went, a little late, but had a amazing time. I have had many times where I have missed something. It sucks but then you have more opportunities come up in life. 	Kit-Kat	THE ACADEMY AWARDS- I was about 13 years old and I wanted so bad to be in the stands to see all the stars arrive and walk the red carpet. My mom took me along with my twin brother and younger sister. So we had to go the night before and camp out. NO PROBLEM- I was a girl with a dream. I had adorded Julia Roberts and this was my chance to finally see her. As the night progressed it started to rain but I didn't care rain or shine I wasn't detoured. My brother and I somehow snuck in to the auditorium and got to see dancers rehearsing the opening of the show, some random actors, etc. I even stole a script I found. We went back outside and all I could think about was that I was going to see JULIA ROBERTS by this time tommorrow. Needless to say we didn't plan very well and we were getting drenched. My sister started whinning about being wet and that she want to go home. No Freakin way! Your killing my dream! I thought. Then my mom said the phase I'll never forget. "We're going to have to go home". I was so pissed. Suck it up bucks, I thought to myself but needless to say I never got to see JULIA ROBERTS. Michael Hutchence was my future husband, or so I believed. My husband, boyfriend at the time, swore he would get me tickets when they were here in NY. Well, he forgot, they were in town I was pissed. He said he'd get them the next time. Yeah, well, not too long later, homeboy died. Sucks! Also, I missed the opportunity to see Paula and Carole from the Magic Garden at a college near me just a couple of months ago. But, I'm sure they'll be back. They're from this neck of the woods. 	Mindy is DR. DOODAH WOMAN MInchus PInchus	Sorry you weren't able to get across the street. If you had an invite, why didn't the cops let you pass through? Was it that you were late for the movie itself? Anyway, that street and theater is not too large, so I can imagine it being a madhouse. My most recent missed opportunity. And it was the last. My friend Ronnie, lead guitarist for the band THE SHIRTS, was playing a gig on his birthday on the Lower East Side. This area used to be a haven for junkies and squatters and easy to find parking (hoping your car would be there when you returned). Well, Ronnie had brain, lung and metastatic cancer and this was going to be his last shot at playing.........I thought. I made this big collage birthday card and the printer configurations were all wrong. So, finally I printed the card correctly. Now, I tear ass on the Long Island Expressway............made decent timing on the road. I get to the area Alphabet City (as it's known in the country) and there wasn't a spot to be had.........anywhere! I almost got the shit kicked out of me by some Russian dude in a Hummer, cause I grabbed the spot his spot. That wasn't nice of me. But, I knew that if I didn't get into the club - I would never see Ronnie play again................something I had done since 1977. I left that spot as I was threaten by this whole crowd of people, and rightfully so. Then it took 1 1/2 hours to find parking..............NYC Lower East Side has this NO PARKING after 11pm or 12 midnight rule..........Which SUX! So, many many blocks away I find a spot, I run into to club, and see Ronnie sitting at the bar-tired as hell, as he just finished the set. I did get to present the card, and have birthday cake.....................
