We're introducing a new feature: Christian Kane's
Weekly Top 5 blog. Each week Christian has kindly agreed to provide us with
a little behind-the-scenes information about the production of Leverage
as well as some insight into his favorite things in the form of a Top 5
list.

This week it's Christian's favorite movie villains. And if you have a
suggestion for a Top 5 list you'd like Christian to compile, post a comment.

Here's Christian:

So, as many of you know, there was a pretty intense knife fight in the
last episode, and I asked Dean Devlin and Charlie Brewer to bring in
Swordmaster Anthony DeLongis.... My mentor as a swordsman and the man
who taught me everything I know about swingin' blades.. from Secondhand
Lions to what I carried with me over to Angel.. And what a bad guy he
made.. Once, again Tony thanks for letting me win.. Now, someone
mentioned something interesting to me on the internet.. Who is your
all-time favorite movie villian... Here's the problem, it is impossible
for me to pick a singular bad-ass.. So, how about a top five in NO
particular order and I hope this answers your question.......

5. Christopher Walken.. True Romance.
4. Wes Studi.. Last of the Mohicans.
3. Heath Ledger.. The Dark Knight.
2. and 1... (Mister Gary Oldman gets the last two votes because I
believe these two performances to be my favorite of all-time villians)
Gary Oldman... True Romance.
Gary Oldman... The Professional. (or Leon)

Top 5 influences personally or professional.

Dude love this show, but I think you need Stephaine R for a future episode. Just for the fun of it. Also Juliet Landau just directed a film with and about Gary Oldman's process, you should catch it. And so on point 'The Professional' is the best.

Nice choice of villains...I would agree with a couple of those. On a softer note though, for us incurable romantics, how about a top five of on screen kisses.

Hmm... My top 5 (film): 5. Tommy Lee Jones - Under Siege 4. Gary Oldman - Leon (and whoa! to the shot that tracks the explosion!) 3. Sir Anthony Hopkins - The Silence of the Lambs. But not Hannibal where they de-fanged him... 2. Heath Ledger - Dark Knight (truly the definitive Joker) 1. Not naming the actor because the twist is pure genius... Keyser Soze - The Usual Suspects but i have a whole separate list for cartoons, because The Wicked Queen in Disney's Snow White just rocks.

Thanks Christian, I love reading some behind the scenes stuff relating to leverage.
I haven't been able to see more than a few sneak peeks and b-t-s videos as yet but am planning on a Leverage Marathon ASAP!

And your top 5 rocks!! Gary Oldman is a master! and Heath Ledger was AMAZING! No matter what Christopher Walken does he is so cool and just brilliant and lastly but definitely not least(ly)! Wes Studi, I love everything he does, he is a wonderful actor, whatever the role.

I would probably add Alan Rickman (I know that makes 6, but I was never that good with numbers!lol!) just because Hans Gruber rocked! and Die Hard is the one of, if not, the BEST action movie!

I haven't checked out your other top 5's as yet, so I hope this request isn't redundant, but speaking of Action movies, how about a Top 5 Action Movies?

Take care, love Raelynne xo
