A Call to Love

Throughout the ALL-time of humans, men thought themselves mere islands in the ocean of humanity. .. Islands that emerged from the saline sea perhaps to grow a tree or two but destined always to quietly sink beneath the waves with only but a rare few leaving a ripple on the surface.  But we are not islands, for though we may guise as one, we are also the sea.  Our inter-connectedness to and with one another ...and, indeed, with the Universe itself, is deeper than can be imagined.  It must be "known".

To the amazement and astonishment of those who first discovered it, the square root of 1% of any population, if focused, can moderate the whole...ten people, if joined in the conviction of love and compassion, can quiet a small city....and 8,000 bringers of light can change the world.  This statistical fact can be supported only by its own factual existence.

Cold scientific analysis can cogitate no rationale for this fact...and yet it exists.

Common sense suggests that it cannot be.....and yet it exists.

The wisdom of the wise can envision now mechanism by which it can be true...and yet still...it exists.

It is truth expressed in utter transcendence of the laws of the natural universe as it was thought to be known.  It is proof that we are not...islands.  It is the incontrovertible truth...of just in fact how deep it goes.

If you are reading these words and have not judged me a heretic then you are perhaps part of that handful...as perhaps am I, although I am personally no one to say.  Perhaps we are the early risers in the dawn of the new day...the new day of mankind.  If we are, then we shall see the melting away of the darkness.

The world we seek may be far from view but it is in truth, I think, only so far away as our collective fear is allowed to push it.  So if the darkness does descend, do not fear it...indeed, embrace it, as it is merely the night just before the dawn....and know always that there will be a sunrise.

The journey to illuminate the new world cannot be about any single individual, for if it were, it would be about the ego-self.

It cannot be about accolades, indeed, the bringers of light, if the light is properly brought, shall be always and forever anonymous.  They will receive no award and make no public appearances in that role.  It is the silent knowing of the right and reasonable.  Love needs no applause.

If any man is enslaved, then we are all slaves...

If any child is left to starve then the famine shall be us...

If any nation achieves its goals through the instrument of war...then it, by those very actions, shall insure its own demise...

The message, I humbly suggest, is simple:

Treat the world and all its inhabitants with respect...

Treat others as you would have them treat you...

Act with the overriding intention to do no harm...

and accept all others who hold these views as bringers of light....regardless of their particular expression of ...belief

To be a bringer of light requires only of you that you shine.  The light of hope is born of the most basic of all things; it is of the very essence that is you.  You are the light of love that thinks itself a man or a woman and yet are so very much more.  You are the tallest of the tall; the deepest of the deep; and you are grandest of the MOST grand.  You are all of these things because they exist merely as a small part of the notions that make up the endless brilliant sparkling essence…that is YOU.  Shine now as you have never before shone.  Be wise now as has never before your brilliance filled the space.  Be dumb to the falsehoods of the selfish, do not be fooled and if you see the tricks of the tricksters, deny them there prize.  Allow no room in your being for fear…fill it with the love of your children and defend our world with the indefensible power of that love.   Ignite the flame of the great slumbering most by shining to those around you without arrogance.  The darkness, should it descend, shall then be split and replaced in an instant because the light of the love that IS US is inextinguishable unless we chose by our own inaction to extinguish it.  No matter your personal beliefs, philosophy or religion, we all are fundamentally knowers of the light…so shine now as you have never before shone.  If you do this…if we do this, the world will be made to pause and in that moment of motionlessness…time itself will be bent.

How amazing it is that only 2 or so years ago I only knew of about 3 adults who even had any interest in anything beyond common beliefs.... How wonderful that in just this last year alone, not only have I met so many more, but I've also observed an enormous amount of subtle progress in those who have always been fear-based.

Beautiful write Michael, but of course ;)

Namaste,

I think deep down inside we all know all this to be true but for some reason we choose to ignore it. Maybe because it requires reaching out, and it seems safer hiding in our own shell.

We are only one race with one world.
The truth is looking at us right in the eye and we can't take it!

I think you'd be better off delivering this message in a plain envelope. The twinkling lights of the background, made concentration on your considerable insights rather difficult. I found no fault, this is a good and pure message, very well said. Nameste.
