All has been done and the last of the fight preparation is almost complete. Like I keep telling folks, "There's nothing left to do right now but to fight." Pretty simple.
I got the chance to hang with Dave Mustaine of Megadeth recently along with Babalu for a promo deal. Dave was awesome and he was very gracious in answering all my questions on his music and such. It was a cool moment for me to get to meet and talk to someone whose music has been such a big part of my life. Very awesome guy and it will be really cool to have Megadeth there to get us all fired up and ready for war!
Speaking of being fired up I might as well be Johnny Blaze right now. (Not Method Man but the guy with the skull and motorcycle.). First I have a new fighter who has come to learn the deadly arts of killing from me and will be fighting this weekend, Roxy Balboa. That's her ring name but Roxy Richardson besides being a bad-ass Thai Boxer is also a personal trainer and cool chick with tats (in joke). She is fighting at the Pechanga Casino in Temecula against Colleen Schneider so be sure to give her your support and cheer loud if you're in the house.
The Queen of Spades will be unleashed on CBS July, 26th at the Stockton Arena for EliteXC. She is fighting the fearsome Cris Cyborg from Brazil who is undefeated so far at 4-0. Shayna is looking and feeling on edge in preparation for this fight and I suspect the gears are going to break and the oil will spill when Shayna dismantles the Cyborg. (Good use of metaphors!)
And then there was one.
I have the chance to avenge a loss, my first loss ever to be exact, this Saturday at the Honda Center. A chance to again fight live on US PPV and be the one who gets the winning highlight that gets shown instead the receiver of a loss. Pedro has been in this game as long as I have and even a little longer. He's fought the best and KO'd most of them, me included. But not this time. I have come too far and can't let my momentum be slowed for even an instant. Blood will be spilled, bones will splinter and crack but I will reap the spoils of war - running alongside Death himself.
"Hunting, fighting, killing whore.
Wade through blood and spill some more."

In addition to all that here are a few short, but important things I have to speak on.
-Rampage, you know I am here and I always have your back. Not for anything other than the bond of brothers. You know I got your back. Do what needs to be done and come back to us whole and of right spirit.
"Suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope"
-Couple fighters have decided to pipe up recently. Problem is both like to speak but both without truth.
Anthony Johnson claimed in a recent interview he got the better of me in wrestling and that this was his validation for being a great wrestler in MMA. I won't lie and say he didn't get a takedown or that he doesn't have good wrestling skills because he did and he does. But he glossed over the most important part: You don't run your mouth about what happens in practice. Punks and the weak of heart do that. He came in last while I was running the gauntlet with guys in sparring and even then 1) I took him down more than he did me 2) I suplexed him on his head 3) and tapped him out. But I wasn't happy with my performance so I said let's go again. Only it turned out "Rumble" didn't want to spar but run a marathon. He threw one punch and just ran the whole time. High accomplishments indeed. I guess he's in San Jose now but hopefully they are more accepting of him than we are at CSW; because bitches need not apply here.
Aleksander Emelianenko must have hit something mighty powerful to think I am afraid of fighting him. The only offer I ever had to fight him was the one time I did fight him...and I won. His version of asking for a rematch is doing so in a locker room after beating Bobish while I visited his brother. "Sure we can fight. Why not for free even, I mean who does this to make money right!?" He's not an "insane" fighter. He's just delusional.
He thinks I have been "running" from him because "I know I will lose". He says he lost because he had a, and I am not making this up, a temperature of "98.6". No, he doesn't mean Celsius because his organs would have cooked off like fireworks at the kind of heat (208.6C). Go back to rapping about....fuck who cares!? Have you heard that shit!?
I was asked if I would fight him in this Affliction event and I said "In a heart beat". Ask Tom or Todd. I will walk up to him when I see him next and let him know too. You will never beat me. I will fight you anytime and you will lose again. You can make all the excuses you want but when they're picking up what's left of you the proof will be for all to see...splattered all over the ring.
Abayo,
Josh
