So nearly 7 months of being gone on the road touring, I finally made it home yesterday! Ive had an amazing time over this stretch. Between the Marc Broussard tour, to this run with Peoples, Halter, and then Lucca I have met so many new people! And of course as I always say, got to see lots of familiar faces as well! :) The tour we just finished that Curtis Peoples and I put together went over really well. We only had a couple really slow nights, but we actually ended up making those super fun so it worked out. The 5 biggest turnouts crowd wise were...

5. Seattle
There honestly wasnt a night where we walked away like "damn". So THANK YOU all for making it worth it.
Im home for a little while (actually headed on a much needed vacation this week) then I'm around the homestead until the summer tour starts June 18. The dates are shaping up, and hopefully we will have another 6-7 still added. Other than that, I am writing my butt off in late May-mid June. I have a lot of ideas running thru this brain (see it does work sometimes) that I'm hoping to share with you really soon!
Its official that Tony Lucca and myself are going to be doing a sort of an "exclusive" holiday tour. I know its super early but I am really excited about this! 1. I love Tony 2. The concept I think is super fun. See we are only going to be doing like 15-20 shows in select markets as sort of a "one night only". We will each play a set (sharing a broken down intimate band) and then end the night together playing a 30 min set singing each others songs, our favorite covers etc! When these dates are finally posted, you will not want to miss this! :)
Lastly, I stayed with my good friend Elliott Yamin for a few days last week in LA. Just wanted to drop a line for those who may not know, his new album "Fight For Love" was released Tuesday! Do yourself a favor and go pick it up! Its a really cool collection of new songs that have a very pop-r&b feel to em. I like the record (very different from his 1st release, but I like it a lot). Congrats EY! :)
Ok maybe this is the real "lastly" haha. Just mark the dates in your books...
1. If you are a fan of my brother Will, and also me, you may wanna be around Nashville Tn. the night of June 10th for his "Will Hoge and friends" celebration. Lets just say for a few songs this night its gonna be a Hoge night! ;)
2. If you are in Nashville Tn. August the 1st, you should not miss the blowout hometown show with myself and fellow Nashvillian and tourmate Andy Davis! This show is the last one of the summer tour, and will sell out! Be there...
3. If you are a fan of festivals, the rock boat, or anything of the sort you may just go ahead and block off Sept. 25th, 26th, and 27th. There is something really special being planned that I have been invited to do that involves music, friends, a beach, and LOTS OF FUN for this weekend. My lips are sealed for a bit, but you'll want to join. Ahhh secrets... :)
