First Quick, but now, this. Two mentions from my press friends in DFW today, two!

and this gem of a moniker, "Cheerleader extraordinaire", from none other than Lindsay Graham of dconstruction.org. 

But, everyone, BACK OFF Cindy Chaffin. In the words of John Dufilho, "I don’t mind if you waste my time, just don’t fuck with my friends." DFW needs Cindy, and so do you.

Who the heck is Sample press and dconstruction.com!! Never heard of either one. Are they in Dallas? They in the music biz? Guess there's a reason no one has heard of them!

Cindy is great, as is her site. Anyone who dares to disparage this wonderful person -- who puts so much of her limited time, her limited energy, and her limited money -- into promoting the D/FW music scene ... well, they can just co f*ck themselves. Cindy's never promoted herself as a critic, but rather as someone with an outlet to help local bands be seen and heard. Bravo to Cindy, and bravo to you for sticking up for her.

Cindy rocks and I hear more bands that I've never heard of on her show... the world doesn't need more critics... I'm old enough to make up my own f'ing mind about what bands I like but before I can do that I need to hear them...
