The best thing about blogs is that no one cares how well it reads…lol so this is the first time that I have tried to write a 'Blog', I really do not know where people find the time to write blogs but I will try my best.

To the RSM-FANS: we are ready to release our first issue, a promotion to what will become the future of our publication. However I have to tell you there are horrors and joys of creating something completely new like this. So here I go with a full out RedSkin Rant…lol Before we start I have to say "WE ARE NOT PORN"…lol we are beautiful and we are unique, we are risky, we are sexy and WE WILL show off our Skin, the skin of our indigenous people.

First the joys!
Immeasurable, unbelievable, supportive, and awesome and god damn positive! Meeting the people, models and supporters of this new endeavor has been certainly one of my greatest experiences. The 'Skin-Nation' has really opened up to this magazine and to the future possibilities of what we can become.

Our women and men are happy to see that a First Nations Company in Indian Country is promoting more than beads, feathers and fluff! Women love the idea of showcasing their talent, culture and beauty in a way that no one has ever tried. Promoting the power of our women by showing the beauty of their 'skin'. Our indigenous women are a strong and proud people, ready to fight for what's right and stand against the wrongs against our people. This magazine is one small way to let our strong women, show who they are: big, small, medium or tall RedSkin loves them all!

The men...lol oh those sex starved and single minded men, they have been desperately waiting for this, waiting for a magazine that showcases our women and providing a place for our men to show off! I cannot elaborate by using poetic words that talks about the positive intentions of our men, because men will be men and boys will be boys. These men love, love, love our women, some are good and some are just bad…lol either way we will do our best to show the positive strengths and beauty in our indigenous men.

The Horrors!
Creating a new company and being the first ever in the world to present a format that is considered Adult can be very stressing to say the least. People can be very uneducated in what the term 'adult' really means. Here's what Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia says:
"The term adult describes any mature organism, but normally it refers to a human: one that is no longer a child / minor and is now either a man or a woman. Adulthood can be defined in terms of biology, law, personal character, or social status. These different aspects of adulthood are often inconsistent and contradictory. A person may be biologically an adult, and have adult behavioral characteristics but still be treated as a child if they are under the legal age of majority. As crazy as that description is…I do not recall seeing the words "pornographic" in that description! Emotional reactionaries who bark without true knowledge and try to bite without learning a universal understanding sometimes surround us. Those are the people that make everyone's lives harder. This ADULT magazine is for Adults, because adults currently have no representation within our 'Skin-Nation'. All the current magazines we have are a needed and provide a great service, but are all geared towards serious issues, education and youth. Redskin Magazine fully supports those publications, but where is the adult represented?

We are here, but not without some turbulence. To the 'haters', we support and appreciate your feedback and trust that in time you will teach yourself to understand before you criticize. The RedSkin-Family has been under immense pressure and is fighting against unbelievable odds, we even had to cut the fat off our RedSkin and show some tough love for certain members who tried to be a negative force. Like a family, we love you anyways, no matter how much of a bitch or bastard you are...lol the proverbial RedSkin-Daddy still loves you and is waiting for you to become an adult, we forgive you and come home soon! lol

We can not forget this list of woes too: Printing horrors, advertising horrors, graphic design horrors, layout, writing, writers, models and proofing are all hellish problems that will haunt us through these first steps.

However! We have come through the fog and into the light with our first look into the World's First Indigenous Adult Magazine. The next issue is all ready in the works: look for our double cover issue to showcase male models in one half and our female models in the other half. Along with our music, fashion and crazy sex section! But you will have to wait for that one! If we are a little tame for you time around, wait and see! just wait and see my friends!

So for now enjoy this first double issue with the beautifully talented Irene Bedard on one cover and the seductively sweet Rachelle Whitewind on the other. It is divided in two sections: The Music section and the Model Section. The entire magazine is packed with models and interviews, with a little tiny sex test in the middle. We love it, because it's the beginning to something new and the beginning to a world that we all have been waiting for. The world will no longer see us as a dying people fighting to survive, now we can enjoy the beauty and celebrate the sexuality of our proud and Sexy Skin'.
