The other reason why I deserved to be in the Top 20 is because AK aren't well known here in Canada (nor in the USA).  I really have to work my butt off in order to find anything about Atomic Kitten, Lil, Jenny & Tash.

I even went so far as to order AK DVDs from the UK even though North America is Region 1 rather than Region 2, and North America uses NTSC rather than PAL video television.  I bought myself a universal DVD player so I can see what Brits take for granted.

i am the 1st girl here posting this commend,i am from china,and no offence.lol.u guys speak enlish with the thickest(yet cutest)accent on planet!haha.but somehow i ran from store to store to search for ur dvds and sat home watching them over 20 times even i don't quite actually catch wat u are saying,but it's just good enough to see u being all cute and funny.

I am Chinese too, but I'm Canadian-born. 

I had a hard time with understanding Lil & Tasha's Scouser accent.  But now I can understand them much better. (I had to look up the word 'Scouser' when Tash said 'Scousers Forever' in the 'Be With Us' DVD - it means someone from Liverpool, or the Liverpool accent, dialect and/or culture).  Jenny was born in Liverpool but moved to Manchester when she was little, so her accent is probably a blend of the two areas.

Another thing that makes the Kittens harder to understand is that the British uses a lot of UK slang in their everyday speech.  Canadian slang is the same as American slang which is very different from British.  Its strange how different English is spoken in different parts of the world.

I notice that the girls pronounce their band name as "Atomic Kit-N" while North Americans would say "Atomic Kit-tun".

If you watch the clip, notice how Lil pronounces 'her' like "hair' and 'summer' as 'sum-air' - I find it cute.  I'd love to be able to talk with the Kittens face-to-face.

i'm such a massive ak fan and i always been. i didn't knew i was already on the topfriends and it feels so good! it's so hard to be a big fan and never have the chance to see them, i spent so much supporting everything they did (i couldn't make it to my prom coz i spent my money importing lils and jennys single and imports to Brazil are not cheap hehe, but it was worth it) and just to think that they could one day see me on their topfriends it quite unbeliveable.

now that i'm japan i'm so mad that i have to work on the new years eve because was surely going to HK to see them live, at least for once.

anyway, it would be a cool thing, if it doesn't happen i'll still be a ak fan, with or without top friends ;-)

I think i should be in atomic kittens top 20 because like every other person on this page i love the band and their music! im from liverpool so thats got to help ;).. ive listened to the AK since they came out with kerry katona and loved their first song 'Right Now' and it carried on from there. i was gutted when kerry left but jenny was jst as good ive seen the band twice in MEN and ive gt their book, posters all their singles/albums and nail varnish! haha =].. i also queued 3 hours to get too see them and for them to sign my cd ( ladies night) in virgin megastores in liverpool! i even got to hug them all!wow!
