Hey folks,

For those that are unaware Wayne and Damon used to be in a band with Fred Armisen and Chris DeZutter called Trenchmouth. Here are two video clips of Trenchmouth from 1992, provided by Twistworthy. Damon Locks: vocals percussion, Wayne Montana: bass & backing vocals, Fred Armisen: drums & backing vocals, Chris DeZutter: guitar
...enjoy!

Yeah, the show was amazing. After initially taping the show and watching it afterwards, the VHS tape was packed away in a box in the back of my closet ever since. Enjoy - i'll post more as I get the time.

Ahh, the good ol' days.

Hey, I thought Emo's was in Austin, right around the corner from the infamous Cavity Club. Is there another Emo's in Houston?

Emo's Houston location actually pre-dated the Austin location. It opened in 1990 or so, while the Austin location didn't open until SXSW 1992. I LOVED emo's Houston location, but most people I know hated it. The Houston Emo's stopped doing shows and closed it's doors for good in 2001, while the Austin location is still going strong today (yes, in the space across the alley from the old Cavity Club location).

THANKYOU Twistworthy! Trenchmouth was one of the very best bands to come out of Chicago in the last 27 years. Trenchmouth broke a mold in Chicago punk rock and experimental music, and inspired many people, not just in music. I remember leaving shows and going home amped to work in a lot of different mediums. The Eternals touch many people in that way, too.
(A note: It feels not all that right using those above mentioned genres in relation to either of these bands. Raga even and roots reggae and many different kinds of poetry and so much else flavors these bands.)

Stand Up! Records

Fourteen years ago!!!! Were we ever so young? Let's hear it for those Lincoln, Nebraska shows! Some of the most fun I've ever had seeing a band. It still influences me to this day.
