For me, it was Gerber's remix of "Dana" that not only constituted the highlight of the track selection, but also amounted to the most enjoyable moment within the context of the mix itself.

After gliding over the subtle textures of the opening two tracks, the onset of "Dana" had the atmospheric indication that something truly special was in store for us as we are lead over and about the next 11 tracks, and that was precisely what I was provided with.

"Dana" functions quite well by virtue of its own merits, but within "Transitions v. 2", it was quite memorable.

It's a superb mix, it's all I've listened to for weeks! My favourite track has to be Camino Del Sol, I've had it in my head since you played it at Fabric. Can't wait to see you at Bedrock in April.

do you seriously have to ask for feedback??? but since you did.....
this mix is far from eclectic, it is geared specifically for one purpose...to drive hard and chug relentlessly and drive itself deep into the darkest parts of your brain. there, the impeccable track selection and nigh godlike programming join forces to release every bit of imagination and every ounce of serotonin to lift your uncontrollably dancing body to a surreal world where only dreams and the very best of progressive house exists. in a monotone surrounding where dance music has plateaued with the most advanced electronics and trick gadgetry, its nice to hear the smooth mixing and seamless transitions that lubricate a timeless mix that could be played on vinyl in a garage if need be. thank you mr. digweed for once again proving why you are a legend to those who love you and only a myth to those who are not fortunate enough to know your brilliance.

John, I loved the whole thing.  You've done it again.  The continuous mix is fantastic.  But I started to shimmy around Camino del Sol, and my butt really started to shake around Gedankenhochsprung, so that's why I voted for it for the best track. That's my technical analysis. hee hee.  anyway, well done.  i recognized some of the tracks from Panama....I was shimmying and shaking there too. :-)

HELLO MR, ALTHOUGH I HAVENT GOT A COPY OF TRANSISTIONS VOLUME 2, I HAVE JUST BEEN TO YOUR WEB PAGE AND LISTENED TO 3 SONGS, OUT OF ALL OF THOSE SONGS DIGITAL MEMORIES WAS MY FAVORITE ONE AND THIS IS THE ONE THAT I HAVE VOTED FOR.  HERE IS WHAT I THOUGHT OF THE SONGS THAT I LISTENED TO.

CAMINO DEL SOL: A NICE MIRAGE OF BEATS WHICH HAVE BEEN IMMERSED TOGETHER, LISTENING TO THIS CLOSELY I CAN HEAR ELEMENTS OF ENIGMAS SONG SADNESS, I ALSO LIKE THE SOUND OF WATER DRIPPING IF THAT IS THE SOUND I HEAR, ALL IN ALL THIS BEAT IS A CHILLED ONE.

TOBI NEWMANS MIND: ELECTRONICALLY FUNKIFIED, IS HOW I WOULD DESCRIBE TOBI NEWMANS MIND, THIS CARRIES ELEMENTS OF OLD SCHOOL BEATS AND COMPUTER GAME SOUNDS. IN THE MIDDLE THIS BEAT GETS MORE CHILLED AND SLOWS DOWN, ANOTHER CASCADE OF MIXED BEATS WHICH INTERTWINE WITH EACH OTHER MAKING THIS A CHILLED WINNER.

DIGITAL MEMORIES: A BEAUTIFUL INSTRUMENTAL TRACK, IT REMINDS ME OF LOOKING AT BIRDS WHO WHICH FLY THROUGH THE SKY.

ANYWAY, YOU HAVE A NICE WEEKEND.

only answer i have is please check my blog......have a look at my trk listing , u have made me sick because in dec i thought i had found a real wee underground corker  i.e. joakim, all my m8s loved my mix and now i feel its not my gem any more but mr digweed has stolen the limelight with that trk.  every1 has agreed with me about that trk and when u played it in lush  the place went off, tho im sure that happens every club now. same thing has happened with pitch and hold!!!! my house musik mind control is in simple harmonic motion with u!!! stop stealin my limelight, i have found them 1st!!!  ....few listens 2 transitions and ur brain will be drained!!!

ps next time ur out play dijinx's mix of de hey's snert .........pure euphoric!!

DEAR SIR DIGWEED,

TRANSITIONS: VOLUME 2, PROOVED ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND THAT YOU REALLY ARE THE LORD OF PROGRESSIVE HOUSE. CUS ONLY A LORD COULD CREATE A MIX SO PROFOUND, SEMETRICAL, AND HUMANE IN its SOUND THAT IT GIVES A NATURAL HIGH TO EVEN THE SOBER MINDED!!! (WE CALL IT SEMETRI, CUS OF THE WAY YOU BUILD UP THE DROP, AND THE WAY TRACK #4, 6,8,10 MAKE US FEEL) EVERYTIME I C YOU LIVE OR LISTEN TO THOSE TRACKS....  ALL MY SENSES MELT INTO ONE AND I NO LONGER HEAR YOUR MUSIC, INSTEAD, I BECOME ONE WITH IT!!!!! I GUESS THAT'S ALSO WHY TRACK #6 IS MY FAVORITE.... EVERY DAY I LISTEN TO IT ON MY WAY TO WORK AND IT OPENS UP MY MIND TO A HIGHER LEVEL, AND I BELIEVE THAT'S THE KEY BEHIND MY SUCCESS!!!! TAKING THAT IN CONCIDERATION, IT’S KINDA SELF-EXPLAINATORY THAT TRACK #6 IS CALLED GEDANKENHOCHSPRUNG, CUS IT MEANS A THOUGHT BRAKE-THROUGH (HIGHER THOUGHT LIFT/JUMP) IN GERMAN!!!
 ANYWAY, JUST WANTED TO SAY
THANKS FOR CREATING THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PROGRESSIVE HOUSE ALBUM OF THE YEAR AND GOOD LUCK ON THE DIAMONDS '07 TOUR!!!!

P.S: THIS IS WHAT I REALLY MENAT TO TELL YOU ON SAT. 3/3/07 @ VANGUARD WHEN U SIGNED THE POSTER FOR ME!!!!

LUV,
     VANESA
